Hence, the description of 'idiot'. Makes sense.

At least Cowboys fans are smart enough to know that a Dallas Cowboys thread is for fan talk about Dallas.

I like the T.O. signing. It got controversy going again about the Dallas Cowboys. Plus, if Parcells can control Lawrence Taylor, I think he can manage to work with T.O. . Dallas doesn't do the whole locker room spying or whatever goes on in Philly, they don't leak stories about people. All T.O. will be asked to do is practice, workout, and show up gameday. Show up ready to play. I think he will and will play out the full contract. There isn't a CB in the NFC East that can stop him.

Also, NEPG is dead on with his Cowboys offense assessment(for the past year), especially regarding Bledsoe. Bledsoe was the class of the NFC until Flozell Adams went down. Putting all those sacks on Bledsoe is foolish, for christ sake Pettiti and Tucker both allowed the most sacks for offensive tackles, and Tucker didn't even start 16 games. Fabini and Adams will be solid on the inside, and I expect Al Johnson to be much improved strength wise.

If everyone on offense stays healthy, it's easily a top 10 offensive team. The question mark will be the defense.

Luke isn't an Admin in the first place. Also, I wasn't starting a fight. Cornbread made some outlandish comments that could NOT be ignored. Also in light of those comments I thought it was appropriate to bring up the fact that he's talked down this board and the people who post here in the recent past. However, you are correct in that this needs to get back on topic.

Does Owens realize that Bledsoe is one of the worst QB's that he could play with right now?

The sacks, the fumbles, the interceptions, and the horribly erratic throws are going to add up after a few games and this is going to be a bad situation.

Bledsoe won't take poop from TO like McNabb and Garcia did. Bledsoe will put you in your place if you're an out-of-line WR.

Bledsoe had a solid year, but things started going down hill when the OL fell apart and Jason Witten had to stay in to block more. Drew definitely would've been in the Pro Bowl (probably even started in it) if the line had stayed healthy... He was in the top 4 for QB rating for most of the season.

I think you're missing the point here, its freaking TO here. Ain't no man alive who can keep him down.

All I'm saying is McNabb and Garcia are push-overs. They let TO make them look like clowns, and you just can't have that. Bledsoe's a hard-ass and I think TO's in for a rude awakening if he tries that same poop on Drew... Not to mention Parcells.

So b/c McNabb doesn't throw people under the bus in the media eye does not make him a pushover.

no, but trying to walk away from TO as he was yelling at him (bc we all know that was bullshit about him trying to motivate him) is, you saw bledsoe get in keyshawns face last season after he fumbled the ball. thats what would happen to TO if he got out of line.

there is a time and a place for that. i call it being mature about the situation and not stepping down to the idiot's level.

I have to agree with the Mix Master here. McNabb should have punked TO's ass on the sideline, thus hopefully preventing all future BS, or at least asserting himself as a man and leader. Mature? Maybe not, but it's what a leader of powerfully egotistical men should, no MUST, do. McNabb is a great guy but not a great leader.

What were the details on the Bledsoe/Johnson argument? I don't remember Bledsoe really doing anything other than ignoring him, but I could be wrong. What caused it in the first place, and how did it get resolved?

Bledsoe said something to Johnson for fumbling the ball (remember lito sheppard picked it up and ran it for yalls ONLY td), and johnson got pissed. then after the game they cooled off and realized it was just the heat of the game.

It was Sheldon Brown, get it right.

You know, I knew that didn't sound right, but I just couldn't remember exactly how that game/situation played out. Senility sucks.

For the most part, athletes are immature and "business" isn't handled in the same way as it is in the real world. So that's why they can get away with getting in someone's face when they blow a play. If one of us did that at work, we'd be fired. A guy like TO is all bark (unless you're Hugh Douglas), if you bark louder, he'll shut up. I'm not sure Bledsoe is a badass, but he might be able to handle it better. McNabb was trying to be professional and adult, which apparently is out of the question with TO. McNabb was the bigger man, but at what cost. I still like McNabb, and I don't disagree with him and how he handled Owens, but let's face it, is their anything that will stop TO? He's like the guy in Monte Python who keeps getting limbs chopped off and he's still talking smack.

Punching him in the mouth MAY have shut him up, but regardless, it would have paid major dividends in catharsis...

The problem with guys like TO is that he doesn't get why people don't get him. He thinks what he does is okay. This isn't an act, he's really this retarded.

I'm a Cowboys fan...and I still hate TO. I'm not sure how long it will take (if it ever even happens) for me to like TO. I am strongly considering showing up at the first game that says "Dear TO, Get off my star." Just because I am so upset about that incident.
