Okay guys, let's hear what kind of ideas for our missions you have. I've got a couple of my own, but only a few of them have been put into a mission perspective, and still need some work to be done. But I think that our Mission II might feature the appearance of the Kzinti and the aftermath of the Earth-Kzin Wars that happened some....seventy or so years ago before our timeline and ended up with a major defeat for the Kzinti, whose Fleet was reduced to only a handful of police ships under the Treaty of Sirius, and Starfleet vessels are allowed unrestricted passage through Kzinti Space. Naturally.....some Kzinti are quite pissed by that. Further on, you can expect to see Nausicaans, Klingons, the "origins" of the Orion Syndicate, a visit to Stratos (some of the ideas like the Kzinti one and Stratos are taken from Memory Alpha and would have been seen on screen if Enterprise got Season Five, so I am not taking any credit for those), the machinations of the ever loving and ever present Section 31....a visit to the Mirror Universe under Empress Sato, the overwhelming "Sword of Damocles" to put it like that, in the wiew of the impending War with the Romulans, first contact with the Betazoids, Efrosians, Bolians......but also some primarily shipbound missions, that include only our crew. But I'd like to see what ideas you have. Both for the Main Missions that will involve everyone, but also for Side Missions, that you can come up with and either do it on your own or team up with a few crewmembers and get it done. So let's hear it. I would really want to see this thread full of ideas, so do not dissapoint me.

Ok, this may well be far ahead of the tech level of this Era, but I still want to put it down. At the very least I'll have it down in writing for a sim that can do it.
Twenty three years ago, a brilliant scientist among a not so well known species came up with an idea that would reshape space travel throughout the quadrant: the Graviton Gateway.
The Gateway consists of four Graviton Catapults designed to propel a ship lightyears away. In what would originally take weeks, months, or years, a ship could reach a destination in mere moments.
Now how could such a gateway sustain itself. The answer is Hexoditritanum, a new mineral discovered four years ago, capable of magnifying the power output of a power source a hundred fold.
After years of experimentation, diplomacy, a group of intergalactic species has come together to construct this gateway, and its supporting Starbase. Now all that remains is the first maiden voyage of the first vessel chosen to go through.
Will the idea hold out? Can this catapult actually accomplish its purpose, and if it does, will the individuals charged with protection be able to do so with so many hungry eyes on the horizon?
There is much more detail involved with it, but i don't want to do into that unless we'd actually be able to do it. Whatcha think?

"The Marie Celeste"
The Lexington while on a test run/first partrol encounters a distress signal from a romulan vessel. The ship goes to a nebula (effects of the nebula deterorates mental stability of everybody inside of it.) to find a abandoned romulan warbird, completly functional, tables are set in thie rmess hall, stations are working even experiments and medical equipment that seemed to be in mid use.
The romulans were studying the nebula to use as a biological weapon in order to subjugate lesser races. On the ships computer its discovered the cordinates of several races that are potential targets. With an away team onboard the romulan vessel, another romulan vessel shows up and accuses the Lexington crew of murdering the crew of the vacant romulan ship.
Side Missions include:
*looking for the romulan crew
*Study of the nebula itself, what are the biological effects of it on humanoid life?
* What if the romulan crew is nutters and hiding? this could give MACO and Security a fight.
*Engineering and Communications would need to translate the romulan computers and figure out some of the technology behind the QUantum SIngularities that power the romulan ships.
* Ethical and moral dilemas: With the romulans developing a biological weapon, does the Lexington go to assist these races? I figure we could forshadow the upcomming romulan war or perhaps these are the events that lead up to it? We can use whatever races that eventually join the federation. (Bolians, Grazerites, Catanians, Benzenities..whatever we want.) Depending on how cannon heavy we are going to be.

Nice suggestions. Both of them. As for how canon heavy are we gonna be.....well if you ask me there are just certain canon rules we can't break, no matter how much we'd like too. Now....for the species.....well I don't think it is anywhere specified when they made contact with the Humans.....so we can play with that. But there is one VERY IMPORTANT canon rule we must abide by (others we cna play with). During the course of the Romulan War and until the 23rd century, the Humans and the Romulans never saw each other faces. Certain non-canon books tell that Section 31 knew how the Romulans look like, and with their level of technology they knew how Humans looked like, but they never saw each other's faces in combat. But even with that....we can still do Faloxa's proposal very good, provided that no Armory and MACO officers decide to peek under the Helmet the Romulans are wearing. All in all excellent proposals, and I am definitely liking them.

On a regular exploratory mission on the outer edges of explored space, the Lexington encounters a rare anomaly: a wormhole. Initial probe data indicates the wormhole extends across an entire sector...20 light years.
After sufficent tests have been completed, Starfleet gives the ok. The Lexington herself will travel through the wormhole, and explore the other side.
But as usual, things do not go according to plan. Somehow the starship's engines destabilizes the wormhole, and as they exit the wormhole closes... permanently.
Now trapped 20 lightyears from her nearest ally, the Lexington and her crew must travel over a month in unknown territory... piece of cake.
Unfortunately, something the probe was never able to determine pops up: the entire sector is run by a xenophobic, hostile empire. Not only must the crew travel the sector, but they must also survive the constant attacks intended obliterate them from existence.
~I have yet to think of a title~
