After Flying

Sam rushed in with Andie on the stretcher close behind him. He hovered it near the closest bed and untied her. He transfered her body onto the bed and made sure she was ok. "Madame Pomfrey!!!" Sam screamed.

Andie still hurt but found that she was winning the battle of her senses. She could see fuzzy images and hear very clearly, though some sounds rung in her ears. But it still hurt to move, and Andie was grateful Sam had put her on a stretcher.

[Violet Hunter]

Madame Pomfrey came rushing over. "What is all the screaming about?" When she saw Andie on the bed, she rushed over to the side of the bed and started to check her. "Get me some bandages fast!" She told Sam.

"Ok" He replied. he rushed over to the cabinet and pulled out a role of bandages. He rushed over to madame Pomfrey and handed them to her. "Here you go."

Madame Pomfrey took the bandages and wrapped the cuts she had. She looked at the bruses and summoned some ice and put it on them. "What hurts dear?" She asked Andie.

"Everything," Andie said. Her voice sounded small, even to her. Realizing that she would need to be more helpful, Andie corrected herself. "Left side," she said, and Madame Pomfrey walked over to the left side of the bed to check and see what was wrong. "Sorry," Andie managed to choke at Sam. She felt bad to have been so stupid, and drag him into this.

"It's not your fault Andie so just save your energy and rest while Madame Pomfrey looks at your body." He told her. He felt so sorry for her. She'd probably have a cast on her arm and leg.

[Cheyenne Dawson]

Andie ended up having a broken arm and fractured leg, not to mention the minor concussion and extensive bruising she suffered. Madame Pomfrey healed the fracture in no time, and put a cast on Andie's left arm. She gave her potion to help her heal and reduce the pain. Then she left, telling Andie she'd have to spend the night, and to rest.

"You don't have to stay, you know," Andie said, sure that Sam had better things to do. "Thanks for helping me," she mumbled.

[Violet Hunter]

"Are you kidding? I'm not leaving you till I get kicked out. I'm not ditching you when you're hurt this bad." Sam told her. He was going to stay with her as long as he could and hopefully hermione would understand why he had to stay with Andie.

[Cheyenne Dawson]

"Thanks, but Hermione will wonder where you are," Andie said, knowing that's what he must be thinking of. "I'll be fine, Madame Pomfrey will take care of me." She didn't want him to feel obligated to stay, especailly if it meant missing time with Hermione.

[Sam Hunter]

"You're as important to me as Hermione is. I dont care if it cuts down on my free time but I'm going to stay with you. Hermione will understand." He told her.

[Cheyenne Dawson]

"Alright," Andie gave up. She was glad he was so determined to stay with her, she liked having company; she just wanted to give him the opportunity to get out. "So I suppose this puts me out of Quidditch for a bit?" She laughed weakly again.

[Sam Hunter]

"Yes well I'm sure they'll let you try out later on in the week once you're better. There's NO way they wouldn't want YOU on the team. You've got a great arm" He said jokingly to her and remembering the time they had earlier.

Andie laughed a little more, then remembered hitting him and stopped. "Sorry about that," she apologized again. She knew she'd get better in a little, broken bones were nothing to Madame Pomfrey. For now she lay on her back, the white of the hospital wing surrounding her.

[Sam Hunter]

"Ahh... *sighs* it's been a LONG day" Sam said. He sat down on a chair next to her bed.

Bella was walking by the Hospital Wing when she peered in and saw Sam. She curiously walked in and saw the whole picture, which included Andie on one of the beds. "Oh my gosh, what happened?" Bella asked as she knelt down beside Andie's bed.

"Bella," Andie smiled as she saw her friends walk in. "Oh my gosh, what happened?" She asked. Andie managed a small laugh and replied, "Quidditch accident. I need to learn to pay more attention." Andie turned her head a little so she could see Sam and Bella better.
