Strolling

[Amanda Edelstein]

Amanda walked through the dark labyrinth that was the dungeons of Hogwarts. She walked slowly but surely through the darkness, she need no light as she had taken this path many times before and she could memorise exactly when and where to turn to end up at her favourite spot.

As far as she was aware she was the only one who knew of this particular spot. It was dark, cold and reminded her of her of her bedroom at home when it was the middle of the night and she couldn't sleep. There was an old deserted classroom that she had made her own little hideout. SHe had transfigured old dusty chairs into comfortable cushions and there was a small collection of books that she could read at leisure.

"So your the one who made this room." Aurus said with boredly as he sat in one of the nice seats. "I like the woman's touch."

[Amanda Edelstein]

Amanda hadn't noticed the professor enter the room and upon hearing a voice here where she thought there was no one her first instinct told her to scream and of course saeeing as she followed her instincts she let out a large scream and jumped up pulling her wand out of her robe pocket as she went.

One problem though was that jumping up when the ground is a cushions is not very helpful as it is unstable, so just as she jumped up she lost her balance and promptley fell unfortunately this time not landing on the cushions but instead on the cold stone floor hitting her hip.

He stood up quickly and pulled out his wand. "I'm so sorry Amanda. I didn't mean to startle you. Are you okay?" He asked her concerned.

Amanda looked up and saw her potions professor and she scowled "I have just fallen and landed on my hip which feels as though it has split in two, but yes I'm just dandy," she said her voice dripping in sarcasm. Her hip was really hurting yet she couldn't check it without revealing too much skin to the professor.

"I would reccomend never ever doing that again. I have half a mind to go to the hospital wing and tell the matron exactly who caused this pain," she said with a frown as she looked at the professor. She could tell he was sorry but her mind wasn't really working well at the moment.

Aurus had a slightly hurt look in his eyes for a second, but quickly came back to reality. "I really am very sorry. Would you like me to take a look at your hip?" He said carefully.

[Amanda Edelstein]

"No!" said Amanda quickly and she took a couple of steps back. She knew she was probably overreacting but that's what happens late at night. "I'll be fine," she said.

[Aurus Bearut]

"Oh, I'm sorry, really." He said as he thought about what he had just said, and with a quick turn, walked out of the room.
