Aurus finished writing the recipe for the potion they were making today, then sat down and started sorting his papers. The board read Befuddlement Draught Ingredients: Scurvy-grass, Lovage, and Sneezewort. And the ingredients were placed organized on each of the desks as Aurus waited for his students to come in.

Amanda entered the potions classroom and yawned as she walked in. Suddenly the door slammed shut behind her and she cringed as she put a hand to her head. "No loud noises," she said to herself as she took a seat. She placed down her bag and looked up at the board "Oh goody," she said sarcastically.

Amanda glared up at the teacher "Maybe," she answered before she placed her head down on the desk. Letting the wood cool down her forehead.

"No, but this is what, our third day here? So if you already don't like me, I can see I'm making progress. Not sure if it's good or bad though." He said reluctantly. "Of course, I do hope I'm not as bad as the Umbridge woman." He said with a small thoughtful smile.

Amanda sighed as she glanced up at the professor "Umbridge was fine, she pissed off Potter, very enjoyable watching," she said with a small smile before wincing slightly and laying her head back on the desk again.

"Okay. lol, erm, long and big are different things ya know." He said quietly as he opened up a cabinet and pulled out an example of the potion they were making.

Amanda mumbled something before she sighed and cautiously raised her head. "Seeing as nobody is here do I have to make the potion?" she asked.

"Hmm, wonder where everyone went. But okay, I guess that since no one is here, you can just copy down the potion." He said with a smile. Then, he pulled out a potion, and put it on amanda's desk. "Here, drink it." He said as he sat back down behind his desk.

Amanda sighed in relief "Grazie," she said thanking him in Italian. She looked at the potion he placed on her desk oddly before she took a gulp. "Holy mother of Merlin! That's disgusting!" she said loudly.

"Really? I thought it would taste nice. It is a calming draft after all. Course I haven't tried one before, so I suppose I wouldn't know. But I think that that should help you unwind a little or something among those lines." He said in a laid back sort of way.
