Beginning of the Year Ball, Dance! Eat! Drink! Dance some more!

[Brooke Aberdene]

The Great Hall was decorated top to bottom with amazing, sparkling decorations. Today was the day of the ball, and Headmistress Aberdene wanted it to be perfect. All the students were in the Great Hall, looking eager to get the ball started. From her spot in the middle of the Staff Table, Brooke stood up. It suddenly became silent. "Welcome students, to our first annual Beginning of the Year Ball," Headmistress Aberdene said. "The start of our school year is definitely something to celebrate. So eat, drink, and be merry!" she said. At that moment music started playing and the students began to chat amongst one another. Brooke sat back down and started talking with the teacher next to her.

Sam had been sitting at the Slytherin table in a green cocktail dress. (http://i16.ebayimg.com/05/i/06/bd/2c/1c_2.JPG) She looked around at the table filled with her fellow Slytherins and started to chat with the students around her.

Alex brought a few books with him to read. Everyone around him was a fool, and he did not like to converse with those fools. He wore his normal robes today was not that special. And so he read ignoring everyone else.

Bella stood up and looked around for someone she knew. She looked very beautiful tonight, quite to Bella's satisfaction. She was wearing this dress:

And her hair was down and curly. Bella walked over to the drinks table and poured herself a glass of punch. She waited for someone to come and talk to her.

[Adam Driscoll]

Adam was at the drinks table when a very pretty girl came to the table. He smiled to himself and walked up to her. "Hey, I'm Adam," he said with a smile.

Andie edged around the food and drink tables, watching everyone else. Dances were fun, even if it took a while for her to get comfortable. She loved seeing what everyone was wearing at watching them have fun.

Bella looked up and smiled at Adam. Her heart started beating super fast. "Hey, I'm Bella," she said with a smile. "Are you having fun so far?" Bella asked.

Adam shrugged. "Yeah, I guess," he said. "How bout you?" Adam asked.

"Yeah," Bella said. "Are you planning on dancing at all today?" she asked with a smile.

V looked at the other students who were talking by the drink table. There was a cute guy there too. She walked over to the drink table where the others were. She poured herself some punch in a cup and walked back over to the table she was sitting at before. She relaxed and took a sip of her punch.

Sam walked into the ball a few minutes late and saw andie and bella. He walked over to them in his Tux "Hey guys! What'd I miss?" He asked them. His hair was spiked up with gel.

"Not much, And nice tux," Bella said with a smile.

Alex from a book noticed Violet in a beautiful cocktail dress, and could not help but walk over to her. As he drew closer he felt nervous and shy. "Hey Violet how is your day?"

"Hey dude. I'm Adam," Adam said to the boy who just walked in. "And I was planning on it, only if you're dancing too," he said with a smile to Bella.

[Sam Hunter]

"Sup? The names Sam. Nice to meet'cha" He smiled. He saw the slytherin girl and ravenclaw boy talking. The girl didn't look happy. He walked over to her. "Would you like to dance?" He asked her. For some reason, she looked familiar in some way. It was wierd.
