ALESTORM - Leviathan

(Posted Image)

Building on the success of "Captain Morgan's Revenge", the Scottish pirateers Alestorm have released this 4 tracker to tide us over until the follow up hits the high seas. Leviathan consists of material which carries on from where "Captain Morgan.." left off.

The music is perhaps even more professionally produced and sounds even more jolly and happy. 'Leviathan' is a rollicking great gallop with huge keyboard swathes in the background. 'Wolves of the Sea' is another galloping jolly roger hoisting, ale swilling thigh slapper this time with a chorus that will leave you with a shit eating grin.

Third track 'Weiber und Wein' is the German version of 'Wenches and Mead' from the debut and is already a monstrously catchy tune and sounds just as cool in Deutsch. Final track 'Heavy Metal Pirates' is a rip roaring thumper with chunky riffing and another cool chorus to enjoy. So there we have it mateeees! All Aboard till the next album. Oooooooooooooooarrrrrrrrr!
