So you're in a service station in the middle of the night, bored out of your tree, wishing there were no kids on the bus, so you could buy some decent porn, which only leaves the No Musical Express or Kerrap!

And even worse it's a Kerrap! with another cover version ceedee. Now I know if I buy it, I'll play it, but needs must.

First the really, really bad news - look away Dalien - Biffy Clyro are on it. But in amongst the 15 tracks, there are some goodies.

Avenged Sevenfold take on "Walk" and don't ruin it.
Killswitch Engage destroy "Holy Diver" - in a punishingly good way.
Deftones finally meet a good song, and instead of ignoring it for one of their own, turn in a heartfelt rendition of Lynyrd Skynyrds best ballad, "Simple Man"
The Answer stay true to their influences with a romp through "Sweet Emotion".
Bullet For My Valentine continue to improve with "Crazy Train"
Arch Enemy take "Symphony Of Destruction" to task, and
Atreyu party like its the eighties on "You Give Love A Bad Name" - really!

Avoid the rest, especially Fightstar (why won't someone just shoot them), Fall Out Boy and the aforementioned (deleted in case Dalien got this far).

There are also tracks by Aiden, Dillinger Escape Plan, Still Remains, 36 Crazyfists and NOFX.

I would like to hear the Symphony of Destruction cover. If only Arch Enemy would cover Carcass, and Amott would slap himself on the forehead and go "Oh yeah, now I remember why this is so much better than that Swedish shit i've been playing". Ok, maybe a little harsh, but Necroticism is one of the best albums ever, EVER, and Arch Enemy strike me as so substandard.

Travelling to and from Monsters of Rock as a passenger. 1000 miles for rock'n'roll!

I shudder at the throught of more numetal and them (You know who I mean metal4life) ruining classic metal tracks.
