What the hell was that? Like a lo fi Ministry copping off with an early Dr Avalanche drum sound, there's summat strange going on here. At times their industrial clanging and banging is virtually unlistenable. Then they hit a musical turn of phrase that drags you right back in for another listen. Usually when a blistering guitar riff shoves its way through. Bar tempo changes, the mood and feel of the songs doesn't vary much but the dense, relentless "PreacheR" has a vicious edge to it that really stands out. they're not the finished article but there's promise lurking in them there bowels. :twisted :twisted 1/2 / 2.5 out of 5 daizycutter.moonfruit.com |
