Goblin faced indie one hit wonders, the Kaiser Chiefs, were asked for their top ten tracks by an indie mag and went for.
1) AC/DC - Back In Black - "it's our number song to get us going in the dressing room"
2) seventies pop pap
3) Queen - Brighton Rock - "it's the weirdest song to start an album with ever. It's got about a 100 solos and 20 breakdowns."
4) Pantera - Walk - "Never settle for less than metal" - they obviously read Metal4Life and stole this from our very own Stephen Holder
5) Metallica - Enter Sandman - "when you're on tour youneed something to get you going. Coldplay doesn't cut it"
6) The Who - 5.15
7) David Bowie keech
8) indie pap
9) sixties pap
10) indie pap
You'd think with 50% good taste they'd come up with 50% good material? Just goes to show mathematics can't be trusted
I dunno they're not bad at least their music is fun which is more than can be said for most.
Never settle for less than metal? Why do they settle for such a shit guitar tone then?
I really dont get on with their music, sounds like spineless indie to me.
