Apparently, Potential Threat SF have been doing the Bay Area rounds for several years now, and you won''t be surprised to hear thrash is their thing. However, it's thrash with a hardcore edge which makes it a tad more palatable to modern ears.
They're very good at what they do, and if they've got more material of this quality I can see no reason why a metal label wouldn't take a chance on their modern day update of Flotsam & Jetsam style thrash. "Day Of Infamy" the EP opener is also the highlight, a serious assault on the senses, Exodus like in intent, and all about 9/11. "Walk Through Fire" runs it a close second, with some added depth in the melodies, and a chorus the pit will love.
If you like your metal taut, muscular and fast, then you are Rob Halford, but you will also enjoy this blast of thrash.
