if u feel like buying an ipod:

if you like music/something light to carry and very strict with your savings (like my fren):

ipod nano 1gigs or either 4...best to choose 4g XP

if u love music:
ipod 30gigs

if u are a CRAZY MUSIC LOVER (over 7k songs in your list)
ipod 60gigs

i got ipod 30 gigs XD'' but very little songs at the moment T_T

Ipod nano and Ipod series suck. Zen and other companies are much better, cheaper and have more storage space. Ipod series' appeal is mainly "style" and crap like that.

I own an Ipod nano and regret buying it.

Ooh, yeah, Hongkong Ipods are truyl are cheaper. My friend's Ipod video's cost in hongkong is less than my nano's cost in Brunei.

Ipod is purely for style, brand name, trend. But its functionality is very low.

The reason its popular is because of Apple's advertising, which makes it look 'cool' and 'hip' to own an ipod, despite the fact that other companies make cheaper and better but less-publicized products.

Also, Ipod batteries only last around 18 months, and CANNOT BE CHANGED.

Well, did you read the warranty?

An ipod's battery only lasts 18 months. Plus THE BATTERY CANNOT BE CHANGED (very difficult to do, high risk of damaging the ipod's hard drive)

The warranty says something like:

If your Ipod's battery runs out within the warranty period, you can trade it in for a new one with a full battery.
