Sorry I haven't written this up sooner, but I figured now is better than never with clarifying the media rules of the forums.

Why am I writting this on a totally seperate topic?
Because media is a BIG thing in our world, and should be brought to everyone's attention with a more "out spoken" treatment because of that.

To ensure the safety of Mana-sama.net and Mana himself, I am putting up rules protecting media (pictures, videos, music) of Moi dix Mois.

Pictures:

I will allow pictures, HOWEVER please keep your posting reasonable. There should be a substancial reason behind posting the picture--

IE- A new G&L bible has just come out and you would like to share the new pictures of Mana with the community.

This is acceptable! Why? The reason behind it was legit--obviously when a new gothic lolita bible comes out EVERYONE is going to post pictures of Mana's current look, so why not share the wealth if you have it? I also accept things like this because it is not sharing scans of the entire book. I would suspect pictures like these to be samples to the newest G&L bible.

Having said that, You may post pictures if it is for a reason other than just randomly posting pictures just because they're "pretty". If you post it in a form of "advertising" merchandise that would make people eager to buy the merchandise, then by all means, please post! We -want- fans to want to purchase Mana's merchandise!

Also, if you have a question about a picture of Mana and need to post the photo as reference to your question, than that is also acceptable.

Please refrain posting pictures if they are not really there for any legit reason that have nothing to do with any real form of discussion/conversation.

Movies:

Movies/Video files are simple--

Youtube or streamloaded videos are fine to post as long as they are older video files (ie Malice Mizer video commentaries), promotional, or fan-made video files. Do not post materials that are in DVDs/VHS or can be purchased easily.

If you want to post downloads of Mana related videos, please do so somewhere besides these forums. I do not want to be held responsible for possesion of illegal material when I didn't even post it in the first place.

MP3s:

NOT acceptable in any way, shape, or form. If you post ANY music files, you -WILL- be banned without warning.
