I'm not sure if anyone else here believes in spirits or the afterlife, but I do. I think it would be nice to share stories and have discussions on the paranormal,since I think it is a VERY interesting topic. I will start.


I used to live in this really old house in Queens with my mom and grandma.For as long as I could remember, I used to see two white ladies in the mirror. I wasnt scared of them,I thought that was just normal. I used to get like "messeges" from them. Like I'd see them and get a sudden thought and I had to do it. It was always to go looking underneath a wood panel on the floor. I used to find lots of jewlery :) One day my mom asked if I had stolen the jewelry from someone,and I told her the ladies gave them to me. She got really freaked out and toldme to stop talking to them. It scared me because I didnt know that I wasnt supposed to be "seeing" that. I went to my grandma and told her about it. She asked me to describe how they looked,and I told her they were white twins with blonde hair and blue eyes. My grandma went to the attic and showed me a photo album given to her by the lady who sold her the house, and they were in it! I got so scared and I stopped looking or going near mirrors. My grandma said one of the killed herself but the other one lived to 80 yrs and sold the house to her.

I've had loads of experiences.

I don't really like to talk about it to just anyone. However, I do know that my guardian is an ancestor. I've seen a picture of her, after I had visions of a woman. She always alerts me for things and I feel her around me at times of need. I also get contacted by my grandmother a lot.

However, I'm sort of sad now because I found out paranormal visions can be associated with what I'm having medical tests for. Though, I hope that, even if my tests are positive and my visions could just be a symptom, my ancestors are really around me in some way.

Well, there's something out in the balcony. Not sure what it is.
At times it's just playful. Have a tendency to move stuff in the balcony.
Like for example it hid three canes at one point. They usually stand in a basket (which is only there for containing those canes!), but around two years ago they disappeared. Only found them recently when I was cleaning the sofa, and discovered that the canes lay beneath the pillows (not sure what's worse, that something's out there, or it took me a couple of years to clean beneath the pillows :rolleyes:).
Sometimes during the evening it gets down right malevolent. Then there's just this huge feeling of dread coming from the balcony.

Apart from that I've often dreamt stuff that then happened.

Well, he can grab anyone's palms and discover quite the amount of secrets about them. He says it just reaches him. Like one time, this lady asked him to do it to see if it was true, and he ended up talking about how she had a baby in her stomach at the moment and how it wasn't her husbands. It turned out to be true. And there's been lots of other cases with different people...

My mother, who is also into scientology, sometimes feels how the spirits of loved ones come to visit her. And can communicate with them.

My grandma and one of my cousins can/could see ghosts.

And I,well, I just simply form time to time feel presences around me when Im alone. And I sometimes hear things, but it's nothing big.

to the person above i find that really cool that your parents can do that. all my mom can do is read tarro cards and she never gets it right eather XD

but the last house i lived in my bed would shake in the middle of the night and it would feel like some one was stroking me

and a few other time it would feel like some one was smacking me in the face that aculy just hapend for the first time in years today XD i probly shouldnt find it funny but spirits just dont scare me. there just stuck in a rut and need some one to help them on there way...or at least thats how i see it

To the first post, your ancestoors and guardians are ALWAYS by you even if you cant see them! :)
To the last posts, Im spanish so its common to practice Santeria, which is kinda like voodoo or black magic so thats alot of bad karma from my family. Its weird to have family practice things you dont agree with. My aunt is a jehovahs witness! Its my mom's side that does magic,which i do, but not the bad kind.

I've done tarot cards. I did a celtic cross spread once, and all those cards I laid came true. Freaky shit!

to tell the truth i don't really believe in ghosts, i heve never seen them...

i have a random history of my childhood in which i used to see things... but i'm sure it has a reasonable explanation, i don't really like to talk about it but i will tell it cause it fits to the topic

whe i was 2 years old, there was a time in which in every midnight (accord to my parents) i woke up and start yelling and crying saying things like "they're coming!" or "it's here!" or "it's disgusting!!" that used to happen almost every night and daily.

My grandmother on my father's side is a "witch" or she says so, she dedicate herself to tarot, astrology, purifications and stuff like that, so when my parents started to be frightened enough they took me to see her and she said i was enchanted? (sp?) hunted by a bad spirit and she can't fight it so i must see one more powerful witch and they took me there. The other "witch" said the same as my grandma and make some sort of ritual of purification or something and told my mum to leave a dish with salt under my cradle everynight...

My mum said she did it, and since the first night i sleep with the salt under my bed, nothing happened, she leave the dish for somedays and nothing happened until someday she quit it and nothing ever happened again... weird...

but since then i'm arachnophobic...

as for i remember from these times, i remember i saw a small skull all over the time in little corners of the house, over the dressing table, under the washbasin, under the bed, etc... i remember i saw lions coming out from the head of my parents bed that were trying to eat them, and i saw sticky weird monsters trying to catch me...

that's all i've ever seen in my whole life, again, i don't believe in ghosts.

Haha, I dont get scared much either XD You should see me watchign scary movies. I just go like HAHAHAHAHAHAH during the wole movie... I know, they hateme XD

i find them really interesting all, maybe some of you may know the tale of "La Llorona" it's the most famous horror mexican tale.
