Jeckel von Weiss

He’s been around for a very long time, experienced many things, and been the cause of many of them himself. He can’t die, even if his limbs were to be severed and his entire body was to be cut in tiny little pieces;; point of fact, it already has been! The key to killing this particular eternal is to make sure every ounce of his blood is gone, evaporated, or otherwise rendered useless, because his powers all stem from the very life sustaining liquid within the human mutant body. If just one small ounce, so much as the tiniest, minutest amount of blood is left over, then Jeckel Von Weiss, or Scourge, as he quite appropriately goes by, can cause his body to reform, to heal itself. It may take time, a very long time, regardless, even if his heart is separated from his body, he will one day be able to rise again.

At this point in time of his life, it does seem someone else is in possession of the one true weakness this particular mutant contains. Oh yes, just like the rest of his organs his heart cannot be destroyed. Yet, he can still feel any damage or pain inflicted to it. It can be frozen, rendering the body it belongs to literally useless until the heart is thawed and is able to beat again. The point of all this… our chosen Male Character of the Month for October is a true immortal mutant;; there are ways to incapacitate him, to even control him, however, he cannot be killed, because the likelihood of containing and destroying every partical of blood is very low indeed.

The downside to having the ability to live so long… one outgrows those cared for around them, sees the people loved in life die while they live on, and for Jeckel, that really never seemed to bother him, or perhaps it simply helped him to begin to view life as a ‘Master Play’, and he, the Director, enjoying the never ending fun of toying with people, tipping the balance between sane and insane, and becoming caught up in a lust for blood and violence. Scourge is one of the stand out bad guys, nothing seems to phase him, not even the likes of the very powerful, and usually respected Dr. Nathaniel Essex, AKA Mr. Sinister. Whether this is the start of a beautiful friendship made of twisted actions and devious thoughts, or the founding of two of the most evil pitted against each other to see who exactly among them is the best bad guy…

It all simply remains to be seen.

Lied Nova

Our chosen Female Character of the Month is somewhat of an enigma wrapped in a riddle, or a riddle wrapped in an enigma, however that actually goes. On the one hand, she is kind to those who she deems worthy of such an emotion;; on the other, with a bird-like talon where her right hand should be, she’ll rip to shreds anyone that dares to oppose her. This particular bad girl assassin is technically the daughter of the Master of Magnetism, one of Erik Magnus Lensherr’s only successful clones, therefore her view on humankind really isn’t all that far off from the man who made her. Once loyal to the Brotherhood, since it’s disbandment, she has sought employment elsewhere, finding a new boss, a new man to look up to, admire, and follow his orders to the letter, for he is one of the few she considers deserving of her undivided attention and the assistance she can give him thanks to skills and abilities she was given in the cloning process.

Lied Nova has become an invaluable asset to both the Security Division and the Nightclub quarter of Damien-Myne Enterprises, the CEO of which understands he can give her free reign to manage and oversee the DME Superlative without constantly having to look over her shoulder. When in the right setting, with the right person, given a real reason to trust them, to respect them, Speeding Hawk will do whatever it takes to make sure the interests of said Boss are well and truly taken care of. There seems to be no hindrance in Lied’s ability to bring in the clients, to catch the interest of those with the funds to literally flood DME’s ever growing financial support system. She will listen to ideas, she will take them under advisement, and when there is a possibility it will work, she will agree that they should be followed through with.

A classic example of this is the suggested Valentines Night at the DME Superlative, a thought passed on to her by one of her trusted employees, in turn, of course, one of Colin Damien Myne’s as well. Opening the Club to such an event proved so fruitful, it raked in far more than any other night ever had done! Perhaps it will begin to cater for more of these celebrated events, perhaps it will simply pave the way for introducing further themed nights to a Club that is already garnering the attention of many. What can be assured however is this, that under Leid Nova’s direction, DME Superlative will merely continue to grow, to expand, to possibly even become a chain of Nightclubs all over the country.
