[Eishi-kun*]

There wasnt much to do today back at the palace, so the small boy decided to do a little shopping. He'd just walked out of a game shop with a bag of goodies and decided to get something to eat for lunch. The mall was pretty busy and he wasnt sure what he wanted to eat as he made his way up the escalators to the second floor. He still found it odd that the food court was on the third level rather than the first, but he guessed it gave people plenty of time to visit the shops before grabbing something to eat. He was making his way to the escalators to head to the third story when he saw a peddler stand that had interesting pieces of jewelry. Quinn's wedding was coming up, and he didnt have any ideas on what to get her for a present, so with that in mind, he walked over and began looking around at the collection.

[Kali]

Kali walked alone around the mall, with her dolly Annabelle in her arm, and a chocolate ice cream in the other. Sacromares let her wonder all she wanted as long as she didn't leave Magicoz. He was very protective of her, he kinda of reminded her of her mother at times, except for that she hated her mother for always being so strict and mean.

Kali glanced around and saw a boy about her age looking at jewellery, she smirked to herself and walked towards him.
"You know, none of that would suit you" she giggled lightly

"And besides it look so cheap, no one would ever want it to wear" she cast a dark glace to the peddler who was now glaring at her. She smirked a twisted little smile.

[Eishi-kun*]

At the sound of a girl's voice, he turned and looked at a girl around his age with a not so cute smile on her face. Her words were quite rude and he turned his head to go on looking at the jewelry. It isnt going to be for me. Besides, it's not the cost or make that gives it value. It's the heartfelt effort that was put into it. He looked over at the girl then, giving her a short survey from toe to head, a displeased look in his blue eyes. You're very rude you know. You should apologize to the man for making fun of his hard work. He stood there waiting for her to apologize, though somehow he felt she wasnt the type to do it. There was a darkness to this girl that went outside of Magicoz, he could feel it.

[Kali]

Kali scoffed
"Like I would ever apologize to a common peasant, a lady would never stoup so low" she spoke smugly repeating words that her mother once told her when she was younger.

'Who are you buying it for? you mom, aunt?" she asked looking at the things layed out on the table, not liking anything on it

[Eishi-kun*]

Eishi stared at her, aghast with her attitude. You sound like such a snob. Dont you know that if it werent for the peasants, a lord would have no land and a king would have no kingdom? You should be more considerate of those beneath you, since they are what give you everything you ever need or want. He turned back to the merchant once more, choosing a pretty necklace and earrings set and a bracelet for his mother. He sighed softly as she continued to be so nosy. For such a snot you're really nosy. It's none of your business who they're for, right? So why should I tell you anything? He thanked the man for the items and set the small bag in his game bag before turning to make his way to the food court upstairs. He wouldnt be surprised if she followed him. She probably wasnt used to having anyone talk back to her.

[Kali]

"I'm a cat demon duh, cats are curious by nature...plus I have no one to talk to my age, the guy I stay with is old and usually busy ruling over his stupid earth realm."

She watched him walk away
'It's not my fault I act snobby...I'm a princess and that how my parents raised me" she spoke softly looking down at the white cat doll she held in her hands, she had finished her ice cream while he was buying the necklace.

He didnt turn around to look at her, continuing over to the escalators and getting on the up one to ride up to the third level. Do you have an excuse for everything? Just cus your parents raised you a certain way doesnt mean you have to live like that. You're free to act however you want and be whatever you want to be. Unless you have parents that are so mean that they make every decision for you. Those are bad selfish parents to have. He said, looking over his shoulder at her curiously, before stepping off the escalator and moving towards the center of the court. He still wasnt sure what he wanted to eat, though he did know that he wanted ice cream later.

[Kali]

She followed behind him, glad for a little company even if he wasn't very nice to her. It was different, but she liked the challenge. Like mother, like daughter

'You don't know who my parents are, so you have no right to judge them or their insane methods...my parents are cruel heartless creatures, they care for nothing or no one...not even me or my twin brother."

[Eishi-kun*]

Eishi stopped and looked over at her, a look of disbelief on his face as she explained what her parents were like. Well that says everything then. They really are selfish if they dont even care about their own kids. So who looks after you then? Dont you have any role models or mentors? He tilted his head slightly in curiosity. It was funny that she was by herself, but then he was too. However, her situation seemed different considering she didnt seem to have anyone who cared about her at all. If that was the case, then the reason she was so snotty was probably because she was used to looking out for herself and it was just the way she survived. She probably isnt a bad girl at all. Just lonely.

[Kali]

"My mother's servent Cindra looked after us when our perents were out doing...whatever they do. But I ran away from my home in Zaqqum to live here with Sacromares in Sacromania..her kinda looks after me, but I think he's just using me as a pawn in his plan to destroy my parents." Kali chuckled softly

"He thinks I'm just a stupid kid..but I know what he's planning"

[Eishi-kun*]

Eishi studied her as he listened to her explain the way her life was. It was pretty sad to hear how she seemed to flit around from home to home and never truly find a safe place. That made him wonder what he brother was like if he left his sister to fend for herself. Your parents are okay with you running away? They havent come after you? What about your brother? Now he felt like he was being nosy, but it was the only way he saw he would be able to understand her rude attitude to everyone.

[Kali]

"I told you my parents could care less about us...but Soma, he is always close by when I need him. He is my twin, he knows when I want help or when to stay back. He's always around"

"what about you...why are you alone here? I'm sure you have family that wants you, considering your from here"

[Eishi-kun*]

He let out an inward sigh of relief when she explained the nature of her brother. At least someone cared about her. That was a comfort, given how young she was. The thought of someone being completely left to themselves was unfathomable for Eishi. He smiled slightly at the girl, still trying to be polite. See? Then you're not completely alone. That's good, I was a bit worried to think there was no one who cared about you at all. He turned his attention back on the shops, deciding he wanted a breaded pretzel and maybe a hotdog, and made his way over to the eatery that served those items. He looked over at her as he came to stand in the line, giving her an odd look as she asked about him. Course I have people that want me. I go off on my own all the time, but I know I'm safe cus if anything happens, there are people who will come and help me. My mom's back home and I visit when I have spar time during my training. I'm staying with my cousin in order to become a knight. He smiled proudly as he said that, as if it was the greatest job in the world. Not royalty or anything of huge influence, but a knight, a protector of the people.

[Kali]

'I suppose he is the only one that genuinely cares for me" Kali shrugged and followed behind, holding Annabelle close to her.

"Oh, so you're training to be a knight huh, one that wears shiny armor and such" she giggled not really being serious about the armor

" that's good then you have a goal for yourself, a future to look forward to."

Eishi looked aside as a soft flush came to his cheeks when she complimented him on his dream. He didnt think admitting it to a girl his age would make him feel so awkward all of a sudden. Well, not all the shiny armor and stuff. But I want to live for justice and fight to protect all the good things in the world. He let out a small embarassed laugh before finally composing himself enough to look at her again. He still didnt know much about her other than her parents were really heartless people and she had a twin brother. What about you? What do you wanna be when you grow up? Maybe I'll save you one day, if you're a damsel in distress. Though if you're a damsel in distress all the time, I might get tired of saving you. He laughed, unaware that he'd indirectly promised to protect the princess of zaqqum from any danger.
