Hi guys, Nice to read your replies here. Hmm.. for me, Leo activities are an interest. Maybe some of them are not mature enough. Like wat u say, some leos always give a lot of reasons that they are busy of study and work. Actually this is really a very lousy excuses for me (except for emergency cases). Watever we joined (Leo Club, Lions Club, Rotoray Club, Toastmaster Club), once we are member, we should commit our time and contribute to the club. They should know how to manage their time and organize their schedule properly. Those busy excuses are really not mature. What i hate the most (Lions, Leos) who always only know how to get their names appear in the newspaper, press and media but they DID not do anything behind (such as some Leo Advisor)(sorry for insulting)... Just some, not all advisor. I feel so hurt and angry when the advisor or some lions said that they give their guidance to the well done leos in fact they are doing nothing and did not bother about the Leos.

One more thing, as i m a Penang Leo, what i feel is the Lions and Leos here need a reformation in their thinking. They should make their thinking more mature and serve the real purpose of the Leo. We Leos are here to learn and make more new friends. Not here to play politics and etc. If for me, i would rather termintate this person's membership in the club. Start from education from the lions... the Lions should give more attention on it and should be more responsible. If you do not want to responsible on it, why do you all give birth to those Leo Club? Just like their son. if they do not want to take care them until they can independent, why they want to give birth? for me is such an irresponsible action.

And one more thing, the Leo officers and Lions should think and implement some more interesting program for the new members. Sometimes it is not because the new members simply left the club, but is the club less interesting programs and they lost interest in the leo program. Many ppl have negative thinking and bad impression on the Leo and Lions here (actually). Like me, i really feel unsatisfy with the work done by some LIons recently.

1. The YE Chairman, until now November, i still have not claimed my blazer and YE Host family details. One day they called all YE to collect. When i reached there from far after my exam and rush there, only they tell me mine still not ready yet..
2. The CLD Program Part 2, already 3 years but still not yet come out.. Is it because CLD is hard for Leo? No. It is because lack of efficiency in the CLD Board. how many Leos got proficiency after 3 years? 12 Leos only.

(so, you guys can see, although i understand some lions are quite busy with the works and business, but we should be responsible on all the things that we do, it doesnt mean that a VOLOUNTEERING Organization can allow not efficient works, it is not an hobby, IT is our responsibility for being a Leo member)

I hope SOME Leos who are not active at all, please read back your Leo Membership Responsibility in the website. For some LIONS who always give excuses, please refresh your memory when you are firstly inducted into the Lions Club. (the text on induction ceremony) Anyway, all the best for all dedicated lions and leos that i met this year. I really happy working with you guys. All the best!!
