Ah, less gap in the ages between members ? true, this one of the reasons. But as time goes by, regardless of the age differences, one should learn to work well with all ages....remember-there are 'old' members with vast experiences in lionism and there are indeed some, willing to pass on their knowledge before they 'leave' finally.

Put it this way, the old should be willing to let the young try out new proposals, listening to them first before jumping to conclusion or 'pouring cold water over burning idea'. Perhaps, give their experienced guidances to move in the right direction for the club....I'm sure there're something to learn from past experiences which can be of some help to new ideas. At the end of the day, it's more of the old to work along with the young, rather than the young to work along with the old.
This kind of attitudes will keep the club progressing each term as there's a give and take situation which complement everbody.

So,Vincente'- even in a real world out there, you'll find people of different ages having to work together to achieve their goals....one must have an understanding and a willingness to adapt to different situation and different people....and you won't have white hairs coming out of your head !!! biggrin.gif

Hey Summer Boy/King or Lion King....long time no see.

My projection of New Century Lions Clubs in the next 10 years or so will be having the same problem in recruiting young members IF we don't change our mindset or a will to change.

As the saying, "Change your thinking, change your life"

A good leader not only must know how to lead, but also must know when to step back and give others to lead.
