Lesson Two, N.E.W.T level

'Potions out please I want to carry on from where we were last time. You should have finished step two by now and if not your potions should have matured enough by now so they will be able to continue with step three.'

Nerissa flicked her wand at the board and the instructions appeared
'You have an hour to get to step five, if not then you must complete it after lesson as next week we will be working on the final part which needs to have steps 3 to five completed properly for the Potion to work.'

Ingrediants



lacewing flies stewed 21 days
leeches,
powdered bicorn horn
knotgrass,
fluxweed picked at full moon
shredded boomslang skin,
pomegranate
Bundimun secretion


Method

Step Three: The shredded bloomslang skin can be added into the mixture one peice at a time. The potion will turn a pale pink as the bloomslang skin is added. But do not add any more then seven peices as this will intoxicate the potion and cause it to be useless.

Step Four: Stir anti clockwise until the pink has all but faded from the concuction. Then squash the bicorn horn with a mortal and pester and then slowly pour it into the potion.

Step five: Let the Potion simmer for a moment, before adding the Fluxweed. Stir for several minutes, before draining the regadue.'

Reta sat back in her chair, watching the Professor's every moves, hoping that she was makign her feel newvous by watching her, althought she actually doubted she was doing anything to her. Yet she still watched her.
When she finally stopped talking and let them begin, Reta took out her potion, which she had bottled into 3 or so vials. She set her cauldron on her desk and began emptying her potion into it. After reading the third step, she began adding boomslang skin, watching as the potion slowly turned a slight pink. As she added the seventh piece, the potion was a pale pink. She took out a stick she used for stirring nad began to stir counterclockwise, watching the pink drain from the potion, and then she added the unicorn horn. She sat back in her chair, staring the Professor down once again while letting her potion simmer and then added the Fluxweed, and then stirring it once again. A few minutes later, Reta bottled her potion back up and sat back, anticipating the end of class.
