[Nerissa Leyton]

Dinner had all but finished and Professor Leyton was keen to wander out into the grounds. First however, she was to be found in the Entrance Hall looking at a suit of armour with mild interest.
'You stink.' the suit of armour said.
Nerissa raised her eyebrows, surely she had not heard what she thought she had?
'Excuse me?'

'Loony Leyton late again whatever will she do!
Her hairs a mess, she been drinking gin and she needs a-'

'Finish that sentence Peeves and you will severly wish you hand't said anything.'

The suit of armour rattled and out popped a poltergeist, Peeves.

Peeves cackled and then flew off up the marble staircase and then out of sight.

Nerissa sighed and then began to make her way out of the hall, but someone stopped her!

Reta wasn't big on trying to hurt people's feelings. She may say a thing or two behind their back to their friends, but she didnt try to deliberately hurt someone's feelings, especially someone in high authority. After all, what right did Reta have to judge someon she didnt know.
So as Reta brushed past the Headmistress, she asked, "Where's Professor Aiden?"

Nerissa raised her eyebrows and stared at the girl.
'Where is Professor Aidan?' she mimicked feeling outstanded that someone had asked such a question.

'And why would a young lady, such as yourself want to know something like that?'

Without waiting for a response Nerissa spoke over the girl 'I shall say that Professor Aidan is not in the country, nor has he been seen for over several weeks. The wizengamot court recently voted him out due to his lack of involvememt in the war. Professor Aidan is a great wizard indeed, but he seems to lack any helping skills which may have helped him and others.'

ooc: lol sorry i culdnt come up with a different reason for reta to b talkin to the headmistress other than aiden lol.

Reta resisted the urge to glare at the woman who called herself Headmistress, just for the simple fact that she was indeed the new Headmistress. She was thinking of replying coldly and sarcastically, but then thought better.

"Maybe because he's only been Headmaster since the first time I arrived, and I've grown attached to him. I was just wondering if he's okay." she said outloud, but inside she thoughtOr maybe it's becasue he didnt deserve to get sacked, nor should you be here.

...he seems to lack any helping skills which may have helped him and the others... When Reta heard this, she muttered, "Well he sure enough has helped me and my friends." But since she was going to be stuck with Professor Leyton for the rest of the year, or so it seemed, she figured she should at least get to know a bit about her. "So, did you graduate from this school?" she asked casually, trying to keep the coldness from her voice. After all, if she hadnt even gone to this school, what right did she have to try and run it?

Professor Leyton laughed bitterly. 'Yes, Ravenclaw head girl, well I say head girl I didn't do much head girl-ing so to say I was caught twice by Professor Dumbledore snogging Regulas Black behind Hagrid's cabin, well look how he turned out.'

She rounded on Reta, a cool lightness in her eyes and in her voice 'Your a sharp girl Austin. If I didn't have a reason to be weary of you, I'd imagine we'd become good friends.'

Reta smiled, a genuine smile. She had been bitter about the whole "new Headmistress" thing, at first, but now that she had a ctually spoken with Professor Leyton, she found she actually...liked her. She decided that she would have to defend her when the rest of her friends insulted her, as they had at the beginning of the term feast.
"I know the Ravenclaw Head Girl for my year." she added. "Lets just hope you dont catch her snogging Leo Porter." she joked.
