Anyone else planning to watch?

Not sure I'll stay up for the whole thing, considering I haven't seen any of the Best Picture nominees. (Literally. Usually I've seen at least one or two. tongue.gif Although I did mean to go see War Horse and unfortunately missed its brief theatrical run. I'll probably try to catch Moneyball on DVD or OnDemand, too.) Although I am rooting for Melissa McCarthy, mainly because I want to watch the Academy vote an award to "Bridesmaids." heehee.gif

Yay for Octavia Spencer! clap.gif

"The Artist is the first silent film to be nominated Best Picture for since 1928." Note to Academy: There is a reason for that. tongue.gif

So great for Man or Muppet! wahoo.gif wahoo.gif That was a such a great song, and a fun movie. biggrin.gif And great for Jason Segel, too! cool.gif

Okay, they totally held off the Short Film awards until almost 11pm just so they could use the Bridesmaid cast and make a bunch of sex jokes. laugh.gif laugh.gif
