QUOTE
Spider-Girl wears a skin-tight black outfit with a large pale blue spider emblazed across her front, and is very toned and strong.

Writer Paul Tobin told the BBC that it was important to him not to portray her in a "sexualised" way, or as a "trophy" girl.

There is "definitely space in the market for a strong well-written female character", says Martin Averre who runs four comic book shops across the UK.

That's so cool. I kind of like the black and white suit.

I have to ask, Chimpo. What do you not like about the new version?

Or what do you like more from the original?

What I don't like about new Spider-Girl:
- it's another Quaseda move to erase all things related to Peter-Mary Jane relationship
- they destroyed established timeline and universe, with all characters and bad guys.
- no future for the title, thanks to earlier work by Marvel over Spider-Girl comics.
- it's like having Jaina being replaced by a blond girl with blue eyes, who is a mechanic and likes flowers, and publisher telling you that this is your new Jaina so live with it.
- putting her in the same universe as Spider-Man makes it pretty obvious that she will fight the same villains as he does.
