I've finally decided, what the heck, I'll just put up my Jaina pic. This one has taken me forever and I'm still not satisfied with it. I'm not sure I like the pose but this thing took me soooooo long to color it's not even funny.  I started this one in my math notebook, which explains the obnoxious lines running through it. I colored it on my dad's tablet laptop that he got from work... the number of nights I've stayed up late working on this ....  Anyway, here's the pic: Click here! And that is definitely a work in progress, so if you have any ideas, please critique! I am looking for any sort of feedback you can provide... ideas on structure, colors, shading, posture, etc! (And TKL, if you think this should go in a different forum, please mention it! That's just because I noticed in the sticky thread you mentioned there was no specific forum for fanart yet, so I am posting this here, but if you create one, it will obviouly need to be moved!) Here we go:

Great pic! I love the color and work on the jumpsuit and the way her hair flows gives her expression extra depth.

Thanks! The expression is what I've been agonizing over... And in case anyone was wondering, I stole part of the pose from the Japanese cover of Dark Journey (I think it was DJ...)

Here are two drawings I did way back in the day when I actually had time to draw...Both are cover art for stories I did. The first one is an unfinished piece of cover art for a story called Of Spies and Sabacc and the second one is cover art for an Archived story called Lost Charm.   -------------------- A woman's place is in the House...

Those look really nice. Pencil is difficult for me because it never scans well and all my many mistakes show up... I draw hard and the eraser lines look yucky. That looks very -------------------- :kittyrose: :kitty: Stop the world! I want to get on! - The Producers |

Thank you guys I just wish I had time to draw again. Aniakera, I liked the color detail you did best. Thats the one thing I just cannot do. I never get the values quite right, which is why I'm lazy and stick to pencil. You can erase -------------------- A woman's place is in the House...
