Title: Science Fiction Shopping

oldjedinurse - October 14, 2010 08:22 PM (GMT)
I wasn't sure where to put this, until I it occurred to me that we needed a shopping thread! :heehee:

(If WC or XO wish to move this, please do.)

The following news tidbit caught my eye over at TFN:

SyFy - Her Universe Merchandising Deal

Since I had never heard of SyFy, I went straight to their online shopping pages. Now I want a "FRAK" mug and a "Frak Off" T-shirt... for starters.

A woman and her money are so easily parted. :p

Yeah, shopping! I would buy about every HU shirt if I could. That's me controlling my inner shopaholic. I kept walking by that booth at C5 like a moth to a flame. I still wear my HU silicone bracelet.

It sounds like some of those shirts they have now are going to get phased out with new ones for the holidays.

:nodyes: All of the HU shirts are great. Not even a so-so one in the bunch.

I wear my red-and-gold Padme one the most, although the weather is getting a bit chilly here for light T's.

**Sigh** Guess that means I need to order a hoodie...

I'd get a Caprica toaster if it wasn't so frakking expensive. :)

I got a hoodie. I love it.

LOVE this - even if it isn't a SW thing:

Time Traveller's Calendar

I ordered one of these - hope the link works (today's 2/14/12) is a SW Tee - The Kiss (H/L):

EDIT: I did purchase today's shirt, however this is my first purchase from this site and I can't vouch for it beyond "I tried it."

Site won't work anymore I want this shirt and I'm pissed :headbanging:

This doesn't sound or look like SW shopping, but bear with me. There's a connection.

I posted these on Facebook but a lot of you won't see that.

Last Sunday, a native Chippewa artisan and historian made a traditional medicine pouch for me:

You are supposed to put meaningful objects inside. The first thing I put in? A tiny purple lightsaber. See? I told you there was SW here.

In other news, the same artist also made me a spectacular native cuff "adornment:"
