Francis floated down the corridors with a long trail of machinary rattling in the air behind him. On such Sunday afternoons, he believed kids his age, would be reading so-called Comics, or go watch movies.

At the thought, he spat in disgust. Such a waste of time. Who wouldn't rather being doing Genetical tests on Prisoners....Such interest.

Francis entered the Jailblock. Walking past rows, and rows of degenerate convicts. Not that he despised them, he just thought they were a bit stupid for getting caught.

Francis chose to test an interesting subject indeed. Morphing of body, morphing of genes, and even a morph of body structure. Interesting indeed...

Francis entered the outer part of the cell, where he put down all the equipment. Then, he entered the inner cell. 'We meet again Miss Ashford."

Saeryn was stuck in the prisoner block with dozens of others. It was in this small cell that Saeryn lived out her life, it reminded her of being locked in her room back home. The bile raised in her throat at the thought of what her parents did to her. Unlike most of the other prisoners there was a guard watching her. It was because when Saeryn first arrived here she did almost anything to gain freedom, including dislocating one of her wrists just to get out of handcuffs. Saeryn hated being kept in a cage, being a prisoner. She noticed something off about the guard, but Saeryn just kept her hateful gaze on the soldier watching her. He just sat there with his assault rifle slung over his chest. He just looked quite calm, despite being a few feet away from her, all he would really do was occasionally scratch an itch or figit a bit. She knew that she made others nervous, it was just her nature, the stories of how she killed many people including agents in this facility. Saeryn couldn't see his expression from under his balaclava, it was kind of odd to her, many guards that watched over her 24/7 wore face masks, as if simply covering the face with cloth would provide any protection from Saeryn's preferred method of killing prey. Saeryn knew better than to attack a guard, it didn't matter how fast she was, or how suddenly she could react. He had his weapons ready and beanbag rounds to the chest hurt. The guard seemed a bit interested with her, something just a bit odd about the way that he looked at her. Many guards that watched over Saeryn looked at her in disgust, or in fear, seeing her as a monster and a freak that was meant to be kept at arms length at all times or in it's cage until it was needed again. But something about his gaze was a bit different Saeryn couldn't put her finger on it but something was off...

Finally the guard broke the awkward silence first, he spoke to Saeryn, while his tone was actually gentle while speaking in German, "Ich bemerkte, dass Sie Akzent sind sind Sie von Deutschland" (I noticed you're accent... are you from germany?) Saeryn was caught a bit off guard by the soldier speaking to her in german rather than english, most of them were American born and raised. She was also surprised that he didn't yell at her like many of them did when Saeryn moved towards the glass of the cell or opened her mouth. She wasn't allowed a cell with bars considering she could sill be deadly at a range and learning that had cost a life. Alot of guards asked her questions about things such as of how this happened to her, why she looked like that, why she was so angry all the time. Most of the time Saeryn just answered they're stupid questions with silence and a cold stare, but this was a question that didn't bring back a bitter memory and wasn't too intrusive of her personal life, so she actually answered, "Ich bin von der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, wie steht's mit Ihnen?" (I'm from west Germany, what about you?) The guard actually was surprised that Saeryn was talking. She was kind of known for spending hours not speaking at all, especially when someone asked something about her. But for Saeryn it was a bit refreshing to talk to someone that wanted to know something about her other then how she became the mutant that she was. Most of the time any conversation she has revolves around being ordered around or yelled at, and in general being treated like a deadly freak of nature instead of a human being. The guard just spoke in a half surprised tone, apparently he was caught off guard just like Saeryn was. "Ich wurde übertragen, ich pflegte, in den speziellen Operationen vor diesem Platz zu sein" (I was transferred, I used to be in the special operations before this place) Saeryn gave a nasty look at the mention of special operations. She hated soldiers, especially German ones, they saw her as they're mistake and always treated her the worst.

There was a sound of a door opening and the guard stopped speaking to her. He probably didn't want to be seen conversing with his charge, even though the cameras probably caught it all. But when Saeryn saw who came down the halls she understood why the soldier was nervous. When Francis floated into view she just winced, she knew what he did to people like her. He just spoke in a cold tone, 'We meet again Miss Ashford." Saeryn stood up and walked to the glass of the cell, examining the equipment that he had brought with him. At the mere sight of it she grimaced, she hated it when the scientists wanted to examine her, they always claimed that it was to "prevent the incident from being repeated," and that, "she can be used to stop this from happening to others." But how Saeryn saw it was that it was her life that was taken away... and these experiments didn't help to make feel any more human. The newcomer spoke, "We meet again Miss Ashford." Saeryn just stared at him for a moment. Just before raising both hands, middle fingers extended, flipping him off. Saeryn spoke in German to him, "Ich bin nicht Sie sind Lieblingsmissbildung, wenn Sie mich hier befreien sollen, dann verlassen mich die Hölle allein" (I'm not you're pet freak, unless you're here to free me then leave me the hell alone) Saeryn caught her mistake and started to speak in English again, "I don't want to be apart of you're sick little experiments. My gene's were changed, and the virus is no longer in my blood... so unless you have a spare set of DNA for Saeryn Ashford, then I'm pretty much hopeless for getting cured." She turned and sat in the seat that the LNA was generous to let her have. She wanted to stay as far away as possible from him, even though she knew that it was ultimately hopeless and that he could order the guard to simply tranquilize her Saeryn still didn't want to go without a fight. Even if she did lose in the end she wanted to make her point... she didn't want to be a freak.

Francis remained passive at the show of german. Instead he unloaded his equipment, while scanning the mind of the guard. "Ah, I see that you have been...Exchanging cultures. I don't mind really"

Then his mood changed as he noticed that he had forgotten the majority of his toture equipment had been forgotten. Mentally, he literally screeched. And very loudly.

His mouth formed an evil smile. After his unloading was finished he snapped his fingers. While mentally broadcasted, "Cellblock A is now under severe lockdown, anyone that enters...May be harmed. Weapons are live at all times starting from now. I urge all non-vampiric personnel to exit the jailblock and the sector."

After finishing, he cackled evilly as the door opened and 6 fully armoured and weaponized men entered, followed by a dishevelled man. Smiling, he said "Yes, I know you would've never guessed that government's do such things. But well, according to the government the torture at Guantanamo bay is legal as well."

"Enough talk, more work. Oh...And by the way...I wouldn't try to escape anyway. The boys right outside are...deviously armed." Mentally, he made sure the platoon of men had all their weapons trained on the doorway.

"I'll introduce you to my equipment now. That, my good lady is a machine the hospitals use to shock people back into life. That, is the machine that will err...Burn your shell at hundreds of degrees...Celcius. And the rest of those things are used to check your DNA. Oh, and by the way. I can change your DNA."

At that, he picked up the nozzle of the 'homemade' flamethrower. His men, instead of moving back a step secured the area. Two at the door with their guns on Ashford, two standing at edges of the room with guns aimed at the Security guard that was still there for some reason. And of the last two, one had guns on Saeryn's head. The other had his gun on the kneeling Test subject.

Before he forgot, he mentally levitated a flat boron(Appears like metal. Tho happens to be strongest materiel on Earth. DIAMOND is not the strongest -___-) bed under Ashford and he levitated her onto it. And he tied straps of mentally bent boron around her.

"Leave us now Guard, or my men will fire on you if you even move."

Saeryn didn't want to move, she hated the idea of being a labrat. Saeryn had many scars on her body from previous tests, blood samples, training courses, all kind of tests that the LNA had put her through. Saeryn suspected that she didn't really have a say in the matter. But she would continue to resist until the LNA was willing to respect her enough to not poke and prod her at every opportunity. Saeryn just wanted to sit there, she didn't want to be bothered, even by the guard that seemed to have a strange connection with her. But Saeryn would like, for once in her life, to be left to be, not in a cage, not being called a monster or a bitch, just being left to her own devices. Saeryn wouldn't care if LNA just airdropped her on some abandoned island and simply left her to be. She just didn't want to be called or treated like a monster anymore, even if it was just her simply not seeing anymore people. But one thing she hated was being the guinea pig in some researcher's cruel experiments. LNA agents had often promised that she was still human, agents called her that all the time when she was going through one of her anger episodes, but them using her as a lab rat didn't exactly fit they're words. LNA, almost every agent she met was a hypocrite, they called her human only to get her to calm down long enough to strap her to a table and poke her with whatever instruments they had on hand. Most of the time Saeryn was never even told why these things were being done with her. Saeryn knew that it had nothing to do with helping her, just another lie that LNA used to try and keep her in check.

Saeryn just kept her hateful gaze on Francis, or at least until a horrible psychic scream permeated the air. She scooted back in her set and covered her ears, she knew that it was useless since the screams were going directly into her mind, but it was just reaction. Francis's voice projected straight into her head, it caused her to shiver she hated the idea of others probing into her shattered mind, "Cellblock A is now under severe lockdown, anyone that enters...May be harmed. Weapons are live at all times starting from now. I urge all non-vampiric personnel to exit the jail block and the sector." With almost no warning several heavily armed men, even for guarding Saeryn, entered the small room outside the glass of her cage. Saeryn heard Francis's voice in her head again, "Let me introduce you to my friends, six of them, carry dual modified MP5K's. The rounds, will not kill, but will render you literally dead. Into, a so-called vegetable. The cure, exists...But well, if you try escaping...You can guess what will happen. The seventh man, is a test subject... Yes, I know you would've never guessed that government's do such things. But well, according to the government the torture at Guantanamo bay is legal as well." Saeryn couldn't believe what she was hearing inside of her head. She was just about to yell in protest but Francis continued to speak into her mind, "Enough talk, more work. Oh...And by the way...I wouldn't try to escape anyway. The boys right outside are...deviously armed. I'll introduce you to my equipment now. That, my good lady is a machine the hospitals use to shock people back into life. That, is the machine that will err...Burn your shell at hundreds of degrees...Celcius. And the rest of those things are used to check your DNA. Oh, and by the way. I can change your DNA."

As a after note he turned to the guard that was assigned to her cell, "Leave us now Guard, or my men will fire on you if you even move." As Saeryn was levitated into the air and bars of metal were twisted to restrain her. Saeryn struggled a bit against the metal, but she knew that it was useless and she didn't want to waste her strength for the pain to come. Saeryn just yelled obscenities in German before stopping, tears in her eyes. She hated being treated like a freak, even by something else that was a "freak" too. The marine looked at Francis as if he was insane. He glanced at Saeryn with pity in his eyes, he knew what sick things that Francis did to people like Saeryn. He didn't love Saeryn or care for her, he just didn't believe that anyone should have endure such horrors. He turned back to Francis, "Sir... with all due respect, is this approved by the moderators. If I an seen off duty," He pointed at Saeryn using his thumb, "Especially when assigned to her, LNA will have my ass on a silver platter." Saeryn understood that he didn't care for her, chances are he wouldn't have much of a say in such things. Saeryn highly doubted that he would be willing to stay and watch, even if he did like Saeryn despite her altered appearance. All he was doing was looking out for his job and most likely his life.

Saeryn also chimed in, especially at the sight of the armed soldiers and the restraints, "Francis... don't you think all of this is a bit of overkill." She wriggled around in the bars of metal, they didn't quite fit her exactly and would allow her to wiggle around quite a bit. But yet again there was almost no way that she could slip out. Another idea sparked in Saeryn head.... maybe she was taking the wrong route, "Francis... I'll tell you what. If you let me out of here, and don't bother with all this unnecisarry infliction of pain, I'll sit on my bench quietly and let get what you want." Saeryn tried to appeal to a sense of dignity that might not even exist within Francis's mind. Saeryn just continued to talk, "Just let the subject go, there's no reason to brutalize him infront of me. I"ll let you have a blood sample of whatever else you wanted from me, I won't scream, I won't attack. I'll just sit there... I just want to be left alone." Saeryn was desperation that made her willing to play nice. But it was all she had left to resort too...

"I'll give that some processing."
"As for you Mein Friend. I suggest you get out, before I am forced to handle it myself." Glaring at the soldier, he continued "I will take care of the...Moderators. If they try to remove you. I will take down the entire LNA with me. I can give you my word on that. So please, REMOVE YOURSELF!"

Francis then turned to Saeryn and he said "This...Show of force is because your previous attitudes have been...disliked. If I were to order my men to leave, you would probably try to escape."

Starting to smile now, "You'll LET me take blood from you. Interesting. But, you see, precautions must be made in case you...Do anything foolish. And that man? Oh, he was once like you. Well, somewhat at least. He killed in a..unusual way. That is why, we shall test your blood in his blood."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Francis levitated a syringe to Saeryn's body, and just in case he privately notified the men to aim for her chest. Mentally plunging the syringe through her hardened skin, he extracted a full syringe worth of blood.

Then, he kicked the test subject to the ground, and he plunged the syringe into his neck. And he 'pumped' the man full of Saeryn's blood. Again, mentally, he pulled the syringe away and he put it back on the table.

Speaking, he said "Well, two things can happen to it now. He either dies, or his blood merges with your blood and he may possibly change."

And for the first time, he talked to one of his men. "Give me one of your weapons." He said in the Vampiric language. Gripping the weapon, he aimed it at the subject.

Nothin happened, the subject appeared to be the same. Sighing, he put the man between him and Saeryn and he fired, blowing off the subjects head...Which was followed by a hail of bullets that shredded the man.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spitting on the subject's grossly re-arranged body, he said cheerfully, "Well, you aren't contagious..At least your blood isn't. Time for me to find, le cure." He added "But first, we...Test on you." He grinned gleefully like at child at this.

He grabbed his make-shift flamethrower, aimed it at Saeryn, and he said, "Any..Last words?"

(P.s. The gun is returned, and if the guard's still there, 4 guns aimed at him. 8 at you. If he ain't, all on you! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif )

Saeryn hated Francis all the more as he spoke, his tone of smug confidence wanted to make Saeryn punch a few teeth out if she could,"I'll give that some processing." Saeryn just watched, that was all she could do. She wriggled around a bit, testing what little freedom of movement she had as Francis took his sweet time lashing out at the guard, Saeryn could hear the words forming in her mind. They still gave her the creeps, even though she wasn't the one being yelled at it didn't do much to comfort her, "As for you Mein Friend. I suggest you get out, before I am forced to handle it myself. I will take care of the...Moderators. If they try to remove you. I will take down the entire LNA with me. I can give you my word on that. So please, REMOVE YOURSELF!" The guard took one last look at Saeryn, she could see sorrow in his eyes, the rest of his face concealed by a baklava. Saeryn knew it was because the guard knew what was about to happen to Saeryn. Maybe not exactly what was going take place but he knew by the objects being used and the man conducting them it wasn't going to be pleasant at all. He the guard just shouldered his weapon and prepared to leave the cell. Before he walked through the doorway he turned and spoke one last word to Francis before leaving, "You're sick... and don't you dare think that Foreman won't hear about this." With that, the guard left the room hoping his words would sink in, and Saeryn's last hope of maybe having an ally was gone...

Saeryn just grimaced as Francis turned to he with a smug sense of self satisfaction on his face, "This...Show of force is because your previous attitudes have been...disliked. If I were to order my men to leave, you would probably try to escape." Saeryn was about to yell a response, desperation causing her to raise her voice. Mental scars in her mind started to unravel as she was losing what little sense of humanity she had. Saeryn started to get twitchy, nervous, and definitely angry just at the tools that Francis had at hand and the way he was acting. He felt like he was in complete control of the situation. Saeryn was well known for making even the most delicately woven plans go off track, her sheer desire for freedom and humanity causing her to act erratically and go to lengths that most wouldn't dare to go too, but Francis simply cut him off, "You'll LET me take blood from you. Interesting. But, you see, precautions must be made in case you...Do anything foolish. And that man? Oh, he was once like you. Well, somewhat at least. He killed in a..unusual way. That is why, we shall test your blood in his blood." Saeryn knew that he meant the thin trembling man being held hostage. Saeryn's jaw went slack in shock, he was going to inject him with her blood... as if that would make a difference. Saeryn knew what the results were going to be before he even begun his sick little experiment. The syringe levitated and stuck itself into Saeryn's neck, ungracefully drawing plenty of blood. Saeryn was left with a bleeding pinprick slowly oozing black blood as she watched the syringe bury itself into the man's spinal chord. The syringe came out and Francis waited... as if he thought that something would actually occur. Francis muttered, it was still projecting into her mind but the tone wasn't nearly as loud. "Well, two things can happen to it now. He either dies, or his blood merges with your blood and he may possibly change." Saeryn shook her head, she was though with this useless pain infliction... a thought sparked into her shattered mind and she knew what she had to do...

Saeryn had a little bit of moving room, but it wasn't much, clearly not enough to let her free her arm. But after a bit of wriggling, she was able to angle it just right. Francis and the soldiers were a bit more concerned with watching weather the man would change or not. Saeryn just ignored it and continued her last resort. But she paused for a moment, she was at the right angle, she was able to grab one arm with her other and knew that she would be able to dislocate it. She closed her eyes for a moment, knowing that it was going to be far from easy and definitely painful. Saeryn jumped in shock as the group opened fire on the man, seeing as there were no results. Saeryn just ignored it and braced herself for what was to come. She could feel a crack and a bright lance of pain flew up her arm. It was near crippling, she couldn't will her body to move, the pain numbing her body to any actions that she tried to attempt. Saeryn could see Francis's jaw moving, but she couldn't hear anything, catching glimpses like "not contagious" and "Cure" but there wasn't time to sit and listen to his mad ranting. Saeryn was hyperventilating and was gritting her teeth to stop her from screaming out in pain, to do so was almost certain death. She closed her eyes and tried to concentrate, she needed to move, that was all she could think about. Finally due to her disfigured shoulder she managed to slip her arm through the crudely placed metal. Saeryn paused as Francis turned around with what resembled a flamethrower, speaking as he turned, "Any..Last words?"

Saeryn was close enough to grab Francis's hand that was holding the incendiary device, she angled it up so that if he did activate it it wouldn't scorch her, and she was in a prime position to shove it up and catch Francis on fire. Her arm was still shaking from the pain, and it was a force of will and hatred for her to keep her arm held there. But her grip was like that of steel, death lingering over hear head causing her grip to not falter. Saeryn could most likely break a finger if she wanted, but she wanted Francis to listen, "Cut out this right now... I know this isn't to help me or anyone. You could have looked into LNA's files to find out that I wasn't contagious anymore. I know that this isn't for research, this is for you're sick pleasure... Now as I said I'll let you get all the damned samples you want, so you can waste you're time finding out how useless a cure is." The soldiers reacted with blinding speed, aiming they're weapons at them, Saeryn just gave a week smile, "I'd call off you're little goons too... even at this range there's a big risk that you'd get hit too. As you're little slaughter there showed I'm one of a kind, and LNA would revive me once they found out, you on the other hand... I"m sure there'd be plenty of replacement vampires." She could see that the soldiers were waiting for orders to fire. Chances are they didn't want to risk shooting they're master unless ordered, considering he was right next to Saeryn, that and if he tried to flee Saeryn could simply pull him back, even over her to protect her from the lethal missles of the darts. The reality was that mk5's wern't perfectly accurate, and them dual wielding them didn't improve they're odds of a dead accurate shot. Saeryn just continued speaking, knowing that time wasn't a luxury that she had, "I'm not just some plaything that you can bend and torture until it breaks... I want to be left alone and be treated like a human. I have nothing to lose Francis... now LEAVE ME ALONE!" She let her grip tighten, she could feel Francis's fingers getting to the point where they would be twisting quite unnaturally and if she continued to squeeze they'd break, death was most certainly adding to her strength, there was a moment of silence, the only sound was the trembling of the flamethrower to Saeryn's shaky arm. Saeryn took every second into account... appreciating ever seconds she would have, because these may be her last...

Francis grimaced at the pain, and at the situation. Sighing, he said, "We'll need to triple security. Not bad, you didn't break the boron."

Projecting mentally, very clearly, he said "All units, fire at anything, that comes outside of the door. Aim for...anything." Then, he vanished. His six men did not fire though, they stood there as if waiting for an excuse to rip her to pieces.

Francis appeared again in front of Saeryn. And he said, "Very well. We'll have it your way. By the way, replacing a vampire unless it's that Softy Henry. Well...You need to replace the Lord of Vampires."

Francis motioned for his men to exit the room. Sighing, he formulated a way to torture someone else. "How do you want to do this?"

Saeryn was still very unsure about what would happen. Francis wasn't one to give up, the pain was excruciating, her dislocated arm was shaking uncontrollably. It was making a rather loud rattling sound and was the only noise in the room for a few seconds before Francis finally broke the silence, probably because if Saeryn's death grip on his fingers, We'll need to triple security. Not bad, you didn't break the boron."
Saeryn still kept her hateful gaze upon Francis. She didn't like how lightly he was reacting to this. But he had a very grim expression on his face, chances are he wasn't expecting such desperate measures from her. But Saeryn was staring at the barrel of a very active flamethrower. Saeryn had learned to dislocate her limbs via a very painful trial and error process. When she was being shipped to and fro almost every single LNA holding facility. One of the reasons she was kept under such tight security was because Saeryn had often done the same thing she just did in order to slip between bars. But it had served her well yet again and forced Francis into a position where he wasn't in complete control. And that was having a noticeable effect on his actions. He was taking even more time to think his actions out carefully rather then simply doing whatever his twisted will felt like. In a way that was a small victory on Saeryn's part, but it was hard to crack a smile and feel good with several weapons pointed at her and the shrieking pain of her arm.

Saeryn heard the words Francis ordered in his head, "All units, fire at anything, that comes outside of the door. Aim for...anything." The soldiers still stood at the ready, they're movements making them seem more like automatons rather then actual soldiers. Without warning Francis simply vanished, leaving the flamethrower in Saeryn's grip, the weapon not possessing Francis's ability. Her arm limped to the ground, her strength finally giving out and the flamethrower clattered to the ground. Saeryn let out a sigh of relief as Francis appeared in front of her and spoke to her. His tone was very grim, actually quite disappointed at Saeryn's show of will, "Very well. We'll have it your way. By the way, replacing a vampire unless it's that Softy Henry. Well...You need to replace the Lord of Vampires." Saeryn just let out a weak smile, before speaking through gasps of air, "You get the idea... I don't think you have a lot of friends that would be willing to give you the antidote." Friancis just projected words into her head, "How do you want to do this?" The metal started to unravel from Saeryn's body. Despite her finally being free she just laid there for a moment with her eyes closed. She was finally able to take a breath for a moment, just glad that she was actually free. Her arm was still a blaring siren of pure pain and she still had the soldiers standing at the ready, and that vampire was still in the room, but she was so happy to actually have survived and be free.

Saeryn finally sat up, nursing her arm. Saeryn was actually amazed that Francis was willing to do things her way, but chances are she would just make it hell for someone else that got in Francis's way, but she didn't care. Saeryn just looked at her arm, the joint was at a very awkward angle. She looked at the soldiers for a moment, it would really help if someone helped her get it back in the joint. Her usual hateful expression returned as she remembered that she still was in a less than favorable position. Saeryn just spoke, her voice full of sarcasm, "Don't everyone jump at once to help a lady." Saeryn rolled the joint for a bit before pulling the joint back into place. Her spine straightened and she let out a scream pf pain, "HOLY SHIT!" She had been keeping that pent up for the whole entire time her arm was dislocated. Saeryn had a bad feeling about Francis suddenly having a change of heart, she actually regretted not breaking a few fingers while she had the chance...
