I have to say this is odd... I posted this here, they carried it over to curtain call... and now I've been recommended to put her back here because I'm just assuming that Curtain call is dead and the old LNA is starting to live again.

Name: Saeryn A. Ashford
Species: Human, horribly mutated
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Specialty Target: Assassination, tracking, often "borrowed" by military officials
Ranks: none, kept as captive, sometimes used for missions under extreme supervision
Country Of Origin: West Germany
Build: very thin
Appearence: pale gray skin, red eyes, carapace covering major sections of body, almost always an angry expression on her face.

Personality: Saeryn stays quiet, most of the time, she doesn't like talking to LNA agents at all that those are the most common people she comes into contact with. She is a very angry and bitter woman most of the time, she hates it when someone talks about her past and this is one of the things that can cause her to simply go bezerk and try to attack everyone around her. Saeryn believes that everyone she knows has betrayed her or will in time, she trusts almost no one anymore. Saeryn enjoys making others suffer for her past and when she's "hunting" she is a very sadistic person. She often act's playful, in a sick demented manor when tracking of eating her prey, this is one of the things that causes LNA to distrust her. Saeryn is incredibly unstable, she just doesn't know how to control her anger, and to make things worse most of the time her meds don't work.

Background: see rp sample
Weapons: None, her body is her weapon of choice, has basic knowledge how to use firearms and is sometimes is given one when her overseers find it necessary and are in a good mood.
Armor/Clothing: Carapace, when forced to, either a orange prisoner jumpsuit or a standard ACU *Advanced combat uniform* or another military garb when the army wishes to "borrow" her. (she usually ends up taking her frustration out on them so they don't last long).
Skills: excellent dark vision, sense of smell, and hearing, long tongue that is used to devour prey (yet again see rp sample) and is very agile and knows how to be sneaky
Vehicles: none

Saeryn sat in the relatively unfurnished room. Her hands were cuffed, an agent was sitting opposite from her across a plain table held a file and threw it in front of her, it was filled with photos of corpses, they're faces looking like they had lost all definition and were only skin and bones. Saeryn just sat there, looking down at her hands. She spoke in a soft tone, she knew that this was being recorded, "So you want to know how I got to be like this..." the agent just nodded, his glasses were covering his eyes, Saeryn took a breath then started her story, "I was just an average 14 year old girl, longing to grow up in a big town, making a lot of money as an actor, marrying mr. perfect and living a happy life. So you can imagine how heartbroken I was when I learned that I had cancer." Saeryn balled her hands into a fist then put it to the right of her heart, just a few inches away, "Right next to my heart, the tumor was in the advanced stages and growing, eventually it would interfere with my heart's beating and I would die from heart failure. They couldn't remove it without killing me, it was too close to vial veins and it was too late for Kemo. the doctors gave me less than 6 months to live, I was crushed, it was a death sentence."

She opened her hands and let them fall back to her lap. She looked down to stare at them, she turned them over slowly, looking at the unusually pale skin and she could see a bit of carapace from the end of the jumpsuit's sleeve. She just took a deep sigh before starting again, "You can imagine how happy I was when I was a candidate for a supposed "miracle cure" suddenly I had hope. I was taken to a research base, it was an facility deep in the woods, most of it was underground, I guess it was for top secret research or something. The cure had something to do with having somekind of experimental virus attack the cancer cells it was highly experimental, I don't know much about it, they didn't tell me much. They had successfully tested it on animals and so it was ready for human testing... I had nothing to lose, I was a dead woman walking. It worked... within a week the tumor was half the size and getting smaller, within a month there were no signs of cancer. It would have been years before they were able to sithesize the cure. Lucky for them. About a month and a half after I was offically declared "cancer free" my eyes started to chance color, from a beautiful azure to a dark purple. I was rushed to the hospital, the virus was attacking my non cancer cells and I was under careful watch. One day, in the hospital I looked at my veins on my arm," Saeryn looked at her wrists, her voice had a shred of fear in it from the memories, "The blood was black, my skin started to lose color, I was getting paler by the day. The scientists gave me a antidote, a "kill switch" they called it, something to kill the virus in case it started harming my body. I later found out that it was a placebo, a sugar pill... the doctors expected me to die anyways."

"But I lived, my parents weren't just going to let me sit there waiting for the end. They kidnapped me, took me from the facility, even bribed a doctor into giving them fake death certificates. They didn't know how to treat me but I was going to live the last few days of my life in peace, not being poked and prodded like a lab rat. My parents came down to my room every day to give me food, something to drink. I was completely capable of walking, they just told me to stay in my room, keep hidden, everything's going to be fine. But things started to get worse for me, I started coughing up black blood, but my parents wore rubber gloves and those paper face masks. I was comfortable at home, my room was in the basement, I had my own bathroom and everything. But after about a year, it got hard to tell time, they stopped coming. They had locked the door, to keep my in my room. My body continued to change, by then my hair had turned to this." She motioned to the strange membrane that replaced her hair. Her tone was had some sadness and sorrow in it due to the bad memories, "they started to send my meals down through an old laundry elevator, back from when it wasn't a room. I screamed at them through the door to let me out, I wanted to see them again. I could swear I heard my mother crying whenever I asked them why I was locked inside. I lived out my life cut off from anyone else, my problems only worsened, I still was coughing up black blood, I eventually started to flush it down the toilet, or down the sink, I wanted to keep my room clean for when my parent's were going to finally open the door. I still couldn't understand why they were keeping me down in my room."

Saeryn started to look around uncomfortably, the agent just said, "go on... it's fine, this is to make sure that you're case is not repeated." Saeryn looked at her handcuffed arms, her gaze was one of hatred, "One day, I could only guess that a year and several months had passed by, but the light bulb had burned out, I was in complete darkness, there were no windows to my room, but it wasn't that bad. My eyes had changed too, I could see almost perfectly in the dark. Also my sense of smell was very sharp, I could smell the scent's of my mother, father, even the foods in the cabinet. My hearing changed too, my ears were sharper than any normal person's, it was shocking at first, all of a suddenly hearing things that you were never aware of, if I concentrated I could hear my parent's heartbeat upstairs. I could tell that I was never left alone at home, mom would only go shopping when dad was home and dad was at work for most of the day. But I also heard other things, my mother's crying at night and during the day, my father's alcohol abuse, my parents arguing about what to do with they're daughter. At least mother stood up for me, whenever my dad called me "that thing" or "a monster" she would remind him that that was I was his daughter and that she's will always be they're responsibility, they're burden."

Saeryn's eyes kept they're hateful gaze upon the agent, but a sliver of a tear started form in her eyes, her voice was a little shaky from the memories, very different from her usual hateful tone, "I found out why I was coughing up so much blood, my tongue was changing also, it's now what you see today, Saeryn let her tongue slither out of her mouth, it was black, it had a sharp end, and it was very long. The agent scooted back for a moment and had his hand over his holdster, Saeryn kept it close to herself, she didn't want to get shot. After she made her point she quickly retracted it, "I started to eat with it, , it felt more natural to eat like that for me, I guess my throat was thinner so it was harder to eat solid foots the normal way. But that wasn't the most painful change that happened to me my skin started to have small growths under it, I could feel something chancing from under there, eventually I started to get horrible blisters all over my arms and body, I sometimes could see carapace under them, when it finally tore through the skin I shrieked at the top of my lungs, my parents had many "discussions" after that. They didn't know what I looked like. Things were only getting worse. I had long grown out of my clothes, but my carapace eventually felt natural to me, it was all I had."

"My parents had taken good care of me, even through my isolation. I would write a list of everything I needed, and they would send it down as well as a meal. My mother was a good cook, I would love it when she sent down her meatloaf or that pasta with the red sauce, even though it was a bit tricky to eat with my tongue." Saeryn smirked at the memory, it was one of the few times she actually smiled anymore, just as fast as it came it was gone, replaced by another bitter memory"One day my mother didn't send down food, everyday she would send down something, she always did, I was her daughter. She was there, I could hear her heart beat, her scent, she even cooked lunch for herself and was preparing dinner for father. At first I softly knocked, asking if everything was right. After a few days starving in the darkness, I banged on the door, begging her to answer why she didn't send down anything anymore... I thought I was her daughter. She never answered me. For several days, almost two weeks, I sat there, in the darkness, starving. Then I decided to take action. The laundry elevator was on the second floor of our house out of the way, it was early afternoon long before father would return home. I actually crawled up the laundry chute. Even thought I had little exercise my muscles changed too, they were more agile. I found my mother in the kitchen, just sitting there with a haunted look on her face, she had aged horribly, her hair was almost completely gray, she looked like she had aged decades in what was a few years. At first mother shrieked at the sight of me. I knew what I looked like, I had a mirror in my bathroom. I must have been quite a sight, covered in this carapace, gray skin, black veins, red eyes. when the last she saw of me was a pale girl with lips stained black from the blood. I asked her why they locked me in my room, why I wasn't able to see them. My mother started crying, I comforted her, at first she was a bit nervous, I looked like a monster. She told me that the scientists... from the base, contacted her and told her that I was still highly contagious, that if my blood or even my skin cells got into another human I could start the process again, that I was highly infectious. But she could still manage to have brief contact with me, and she would come down with my food again. I understood, and I didn't want to hurt anybody. She led me to my room through my door, there were 5 dead bolts on it..."

the agent held up his hand to cut her off before she could continue, he looked at a clipboard, Saeryn couldn't see what was on it, but he set it downthen spoke again, "But our reports say that you're not contagious, that it was impossible for you to spread you're condition, even back then. Unless someone was to to directly inject the virus into them, and you're blood no longer contains..." Saeryn held up her hands to hush him, her face got even more angry, her eyes were in tears, "I know... alright, I know about my virus, I heard my mother talking with my dad later that night, his memory was horrible because of the alcohol, mother said that unless someone was infected with the original virus that I couldn't give other people my curse. I heard my mother call me a monster, I always trusted her to love me... no matter what and she betrayed me too, she lied to me. She called me a monster just like dad. I decided to confront her about it tomorrow, when she would come down with my meal and supplies I thought that she had just said that to calm dad down, I heard his being violent too. It was almost like waiting for Christmas, I would have something to eat again, even though the betrayal and everything I was excited to see my mother again, things would be like they used to be, in the light, fresh food, my parents even reading stories to me at night, I was a little old but it was always nice. But they never came, never even spoke to me. I had lost all sense of time due to me always being in darkness, but I knew that days had passed. Dad had come and gone, that's how I had to tell time. I got angry, I started to slam on the door again and again until my hands and shoulders were stained black from the blood and my face was soaked with tears. my mother would always get scared of me when I did that. My dad sealed the laundry elevator. They both betrayed me..."

"I needed to escape, to get revenge. Less than a year ago, I lasted so long without floor because of the rats that would find they're way into my room, we always did have a problem. I had to live off of whatever I could find, with my tongue I could devour something from the inside out. Also I could somehow last longer without food during the long intervals between meals I could catch... But as I was saying less than a year ago I stacked up the dirty old and worn furniture, including the bookcase full of books that I had read over and over, I could almost say most of them by memory. I was able to reach the ceiling and the vent cover. I crawled through the air vents and found my mother a second time." Saeryn paused for a moment, her whole face was bitter and angry, the agent ended the silence, "Then what happened" Saeryn turned back to the agent, her tone held no remorse, no regret, no sympathy, "I killed her, she couldn't let out a scream as my tongue slithered down her throat. I devoured her from the inside out. All that was left was a wet sack of skin and bones. After months of starvation it was amazing to eat again. I didn't care that she was my mother, when I tried to be nice I was stabbed in the back. She called me a monster so I was a monster. My father had called three times, when there wasn't any answers he had rushed home. I heard him pull back the action of the 9 millimeter pistol he had in his hand, he was finally going to kill me, he had told that plan to mother on so many occasions. He didn't have a chance to use it, I pounced on him and pierced the back of his neck with my tongue and did the exact same thing. But after I was finished with him I was still angry, I thought that'd be the end it that everything would be fine. I started to question why the neighbors never asked about me, why hadn't heard me screaming for help or why anyone in the town didn't try and save me. I simply killed them one by one, silently in the night. By dawn I had killed and eaten all 39 of them, my digestive system had changed dramatically, I was more efficient, I could digest them faster than a normal human I was still hungry. By now I had a lust for more, I wanted to kill another human. It was instinct I guess. I moved through the forest twoards the next town, I didn't care at all they they begged, or some of them still could have recognized me. I moved on from town to town, killing and consuming as I went."

The agent yet again cut her off grimly, "that's when we were able to apprehend you," Saeryn leaned closer, a smug look on her face, "After having to sacrifice how many agents and after putting how many tranquilizer darts into me." She gave an evil smile. Saeryn didn't like being here, she hated being kept in a cage. With speed that was inhuman she raised her arms and wrapped them around the agent's neck. The handcuffs only gave her more control, she pulled his head close and pressed her lips to his, kissing him. Her tongue slithered down his throat, and started to consume him from the inside out, her tongue splitting off into dozens of smaller tentacles and spread through his insides, small wriggling movements could be seen just under the skin. She threw him aside, her tongue slithering back into her mouth, just as two more agents burst into the door. They were wearing heavy body armor and carrying rifles The fired tranquilizer darts into her, the drug's didn't seem to have any noticeable effect. Saeryn just let out an inhuman shreik as she leaped out of her chair and pounced onto one of them, pinning the agent to the ground. She tore off his helmet and kissed him, repeating the same horrible process on one of the newcomers. The other grabbed an injector from his belt and slammed it into the back of her neck, pressing the button to see the concoction start to drain out. Saeyrn reared back in pain, her tongue flew out of his mouth, the agent was already dead, she had severed his spinal cord to make sure that he wouldn't get up. Saeryn collapsed to the ground, unconscious, her long tongue slithered back into her mouth and was limp on the ground. The agent kept his weapon braced, Saeryn had played opossum before and it had cost another life. The agent kept his rifle trained on her as he kicked her in the side and got no reaction, he kicked her again just to make sure. Once he was satisfied that she was knocked out he picked her up in a fireman's carry and brought her back to her cell...
