Potions Classroom

Kat looked around the room bored. Snape had still not explained the next steps in the potion and she was beginning to get restless. She looked over at her friends to see what they were doing. Lily was sticking her tongue out at Brett. Brett was looking at his potion, still upset over the dance, Willow 1 and 2 looked like they were ready to start their potions.

Please let me get through this class and this potion she thought as she waited for Snape to tell them to begin. She then noticed that Rufus was not in class. I wonder where he is she thought as she picked up her quill to begin writting out the directions so she wouldn't mess up her potion.

Darting a furtive glance at Professor Snape, Mellissa flicked a small parchment note over to Kat. They were both sixth years, though they hadn't talked much.

When is this class gonna start? Lily's put out about Brett...and seemingly everyone...hating her.

Brett sat in class bored out of his mind. Dude, is Snape going to start class or not he thought as his gaze began to drift around the class. He saw Katie and noticed she looked a bit worried about something. He saw Lily and she looked distressed about something. He smirked at that thought and continued on.

Willow, he looked at her and wondered what had happened. I thought she liked me he thought to himself as he looked back at his potions and decided to open his book and tried to read ahead a bit so he wouldn't lose points for his house.

Willow had sat looking ahead at her professor for a few minutes, still waiting on everyone to finish so that they could continue. Looking around on everyone else's progress, it seemed that almost everyone was ready to move on. So, looking to her teacher once more, the girl wondered if the man was ready to continue.

Kat looked at her potion and then at the board making sure that she had completed the steps that they were assigned. She looked over at her firend's potions to make sure hers looked like theirs and she was doing things correctly.
