[Faith O'Handley]

Faith walked into the Magical Menagerie, looking around but not quite knowing what she was looking for. She had decided she wanted some more company when her friends weren't around and since her owl, Minnie, was busy being a mummy. She turned around and instantly noticed a little black kitten with a white paw, stomach, and face sitting dejectedly with her head down next to a cage with color-changing kittens that the crowd was looking at. Faith felt sympathetic. "Hi, girl," she siad. Faith walked up to the kitten, held her fingers up for it to sniff, and picked up the kitten. A smile bloomed on her face. This was the kitty for her. She looked down at the kitten just to see that it was looking at her. Then it mewed. Faith took this as acceptance and so she went over to the counter where she paid for the kitten and some supplies. As she walked to the door, she cuddled her kitten, who had grown used to it and was purring. "How about Micha for a name?" she whispered to the kitten. It looked up at her and mewled once more. Faith took this as an agreement. She felt a fierce thrill go through her and knew that she'd protect Micha from anyone, just as if the kitten was her own child.
