Prefect Bathroom

[Beautiful Disaster]

Prefects only, please.

[The Nando]

Rufus comes in and looks around.

"Anybody in here?"

He hears his own echo. Rufus still has trouble 'going' with someone else in the same room. He walks into the stall farthest from the door, sits down then proceeds to 'pinch a loaf'.

He then picks up his Herbology text book and begins to read. Classes are starting soon, he needs to brush up. "What better place?" he thinks to himself.

While reading a chapter on Merweed it suddenly it dawns on him, "I've never been high while taking a dump." Another strange thought crosses his mind, "I wonder if there is anything in this book that will make my fecal matter smell more pleasant."

Before Rufus could finish his thought he realized he was done. He wipes, washes and leaves.

Willow ran frantically into the Prefect's bathroom, hoping Selene was close behind. With a flick of her wand, the pale yellow dress robes she'd chosen appeared.

'Not too shabby', she commented to herself as she stared into the mirror, wondering what exactly to do with her hair.

[Greenlee]

Selene followed Willow into the bathroom and ran in front of a mirror. She smirked and, with a twirl of her wand, jade green dress robes appeared on herself. She twirled her robes before realizing her hair was not done.

"Hmmm...maybe that will have to go."

She flicked her wand and her hair twisted itself into a half-up hairdo and defined her curls.

"There," she said, smirking again.

Willow blinked twice and Selene looked all ready to go.

'Beautiful', Willow said, her chin might as well have hit the floor.

Willow also flicked her wand at her self and her pale yellow dress robes now adrorned her. She looked a bit closer in the mirror.

'Up, I think', she said, playing with the messy layers of her hair.

Another flick of her wand and sections of her hair were braided back and a diamond studded tiara sat comfortably on her head.

Frantically running around trying to find all her stuff she needed to prepare, Kimmie was going beserk. She was worried because her date had cancelled at the last minute and she wasn't sure if she should go. She could go and see what was happening, and if it turnt out bad then she could go back to the domitories. At least it would be quiet there.

She retrieved her wand from her robe pocket and with one flick, her dull robes were transformed into a beautiful midnight blue gown. She got a compact out of her bag and started to gently apply small amounts of eyeshadow and blush to her face. She hopes that she will have a good time, but she's still not sure what to make of this Yule Ball thing. When she was finished she stood back from the prefect mirror and looked at her reflection. She looked like a completely different person. Her hair which was usually down was up in a small bun with a dragonfly clip holding it in place. Her face was actually pretty for a change. It seems as though her potion to remove the acne had worked well the night before.

Kimmie took a deep breath and collected her things. She left the prefect bathroom to return her things to the dormitory, and then proceeed to the ballroom.

Willow gave herself one last quick look in the mirror, making her everything was just so. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself.

'It's just not working', she said.

Not only the nerves of going to a formal ball was getting to her, but the prospect that her father might be lurking around the halls wasn't helping her relax any less, either.

She made her way to her signature black and yellow canvas messenger bag and pulled out a vial of light violet liquid. It was shimmering in the soft light from the candles in the rather elegant Prefect's Bathroom.

She quickly drank the contents of the bottle without a second thought. Willow was a reletivley high strung person to being with, she didn't respond to pressure very well and sometimes had to go to greath lengths to calm herself.

'That should do. Sorry Selene, but I need to get. That butterbeer isn't going to drink itself, you know', she said with a grin. 'I'll see you down there, okay?', said Willow as she left without waiting for a responce. She was sure Selene would understand.

[The Nando]

Rufus walked into the bathroom.

"Anybody in here?" he said outloud. He knew he wouldn't get much privacy today with all the students running around in their final Yule Ball preparations. "Screw it."

He threw down a big parcel he had just received from his father. Weeks before his father, Edmond, wrote him saying "Don't buy a Tux for the Yule Ball, Old Man. I've got you covered."

He couldn't wait to see it. Rufus opened the package with a smile. Then a sudden look of Shock came over his face as he held up the Coat.



"Holy Shit, I'm going to be a Pirate? Awesome! Old Man, you've done it again!" he said praising his father. The coat wasn't the right color and it was too late to figure out how to change it. "I suppose my date will get a kick out of it." his date being a Ravenclaw.

"Oh Wow! It came with a cane." he held up the cane and noticed it had a Snake head for a handle.



He put on the 'Suit' and combed his hair in a 'Slick Back' style like his father. He looked at himself in the mirror, "Damn I look good." he said quietly.

He placed the comb in his coat pocket when he noticed a letter. It was from his father.

"How goes it Old Man? This is the same coat I wore at the Hogwarts Yule Ball when I met your Mother. I took the liberty of changing the color to Blue, you wrote saying your date was a Ravenclaw, she will get a Kick Out of It." Rufus rolled his eyes. "Be careful with the Coat, don't spill anything on it. I need you to return it promptly after the Ball. The cane is a gift, I had it Customized for you. Enjoy yourself Old Man. Your Father, Edmond Bernard Archibald."

Rufus felt a great sense of Pride as he put the letter up and left

Kat stepped into the bathroom determined to finally relax. She walked to the big tub and looked at all the faucets. SHe began to turn on the warm water, the bubbles,and the lavendar scents. She walked to the edge of the tub and piled her big bathrobe onto her lap and dipped her legs in to test the water. She inhaled the scent of the perfume and sighed.

SHe looked around and wondered why she had not thought to come in her sooner.

Willow wandered in, a bit spacey in nature. She saw Kat and smiled.

'Well, if it isn't my favorite Ravenclaw', she said dreamily.

Kat looked up from staring at the water and saw Willow. She smiled at her.

"Hey Willow. What's up?" she said as she turned the hot water on again to make the water a bit warmer before she would jump in.

Kat giggled "It's too cold to swim outside so I decided to come in here and swim instead" she explained.

'Ahhhhhhhh', Willow said gazing around the room. 'Good thinker, you are', she said shaking her index finger. 'Up to anything intersting besides indoor swimming?'

Kat looked at Willow strangley.

"Yeah... I was thinking of starting an underwater basket weaving team.... we would meet here on Sundays to practice until Spring." she said sarcasticly.

She shook her head. "Come one Willow... what else would I do? Really all I wanted to do was go swimming and relax" she replied honestly.

'Basket weaving? Sign me up', Willow said, now fascinated by the shiny fixtures around the room. 'Perhaps a visit to Hogsmeade later?'

Kat swung her legs lazily in the warm water and shrugged her shoulders.

"Sure, why not" she said with a smile.

"About what time do you think?" she asked. as she turned the warm water off and reached for a hair band and started to pile her blonde hair into a pony tail.
