In memory of Brooke Anne Makowiec...she was an awesome athlete and a wonderful friend. I will never forget singing at her funeral, it was the most...I can't even describe it...It made me really think, what if it all ends tomorrow?

God bless Brooke and her family forever. I remember her in volleyball, basketball, and softball. She was a great friend, and I rememeber how she helped me in sports. I will never her...her funeral was just...I can't desribe it. God bless.

Brookes funeral was the first funeral that ive ever been that i really cried at. The service was beautiful and the chorus was awsome. My prayers are with her family and close friends. this tradegy affected the entire community due to the fact that she was so young. and she has brothers attending the school and that her parents (former graduates) and her father teaches in addison. and to what Tyff said "what if it ends tommorow" her death really made feel and think that way. God bless Brooke and her family.

Her brother's so happy now...it's so sad cause you know he's got to think about her all the time, but it's like he hides it.

I have her brother in Chemistry, and he's so happy-go-lucky. I'm sure that he does think about her or get reminded of her everyday in some way. Once in awhile, her name will come up in one of our off-topic discussions, and we all laugh about something she did. He hides it well and has come to terms with it, it seems.

If anyone knew Brookes family, then you would know that they are a strong family that doesnt show their feelings..I was friends with Brooke all throughout highschool and I saw her cry once. Colton thought the world of his sister and it kinda makes me mad that you guys are sayin that since he doesnt act upset then he doesnt care... Those two have exteremely large sences of humor, he knows Brooke wouldnt want him to be depressed for the rest of his life...each day gets a little easier to deal with it but..and im not speaking for him but...dont you do it either, you dont know what hes goin thru and i hope you never do...

Brookie, RIP please know not a day passes that i dont miss you or think about you...

I've known Colton since 1st grade, was in the same class until 6th, some classes together 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th.

He's a good, very strong kid who doesn't show his emotions to the whole world.


Brooke was a very special girl, who will be missed.
