Here you come after you have read the forum. Please reply to this with the forum. Then as I said, show us your element by hitting a target. And then we will decide on what level your character is on. Please do not be offended by the postion given to you. You will move up in time. Please do not get mad when others get to move up and you don't. You will get your turn. Just do your best, AND HAVE FUN!!!

Black orbs fading to lavender, yet becoming blank. Then aiming her sparkling sharp horn t'wards the target, a large blast of lightning shot out. Looking back up her eyes turned to normal, then looking at the target to see nothing but some ashes. Then turned and smiled at the Admins.

Name - Rhian

Species - Hippogriff

Element - Moon

How you discovered your element – It was nighttime and I was freezing. The moon had not yet risen. Once it did though, I felt the warmth spreading through my limbs. Then, suddenly, when I stepped out to look at the moon, I felt an even stranger sensation in my limbs. There was energy. I had to release it somehow, it was filling me up and I couldn’t stop it. Finally, I thought of opening my mouth. When I did, with my eyes focused on my beak, I could see a bright white beam. I realized that this wasn’t going to kill me because of being filled up, it was my power. I then figured out how I could completely release and direct this power, even during daylight. It is still more powerful at night though, especially when the moon is full.

---------------

Rhian walked slowly and vigilantly toward the targets. There were so many of them. Luckily, only one had to be hit for now. The hippogriff paused, directly in front of one. She backed up, until she was about 30 feet away. Her beady black eyes were focused on the center of the target.

Rhian lowered her head, gathering up her power into her mouth. She could feel the white hot silvery substance in her mouth, yet it did not burn her. Slowly, her head rose once again. She was ready now.

Rhian’s mouth opened, and with a simple breath, she let the essence of the moon out of her. Her eyes guided it once it was out, twisting it in fancy loops and twirls and just random nonsense. It was useless, true, and she would not use such techniques during a real fight, but the way it twisted and turned, looped and leapt from area to area, it was entrancing.

Finally, she just let it drop to a straight line. She caused it to speed up to an amazing rate, blazing to the target. It didn’t just hit the target; there was a melted hole through the center of the wood.

Rhian dropped to her knees, bowing to those who watched this performance. Then, for an added effect, she gathered up a little bit more power, reared to her back legs, and let go of her power. It exploded into a beautiful display of sparks.

Rhian flashed a happy smile toward her judge, the firey phoenix. She said a simple thank you, being put into the advanced class, then went on to explain her element. "The element of the moon is a confusing element. It's very mysterious and not many know about it. Those who are blessed with it have enhanced abilities at night, especially during a certain moon phase. My powers, and even if I fight without magic, is most powerful during the full moon. The powers are varied, but almost every creature gifted with the element have some healing abilities. Some, like me, are able to manipulate the essence of the moon. Others can acctually edit the patterns of the stars and send shooting stars at their opponents and other creatures. There isn't much known about it other than those two abilities, even for creatures who use it."

"My Name is Lyre Triune." A sprite slowly said, walking into the room. "I have come from a distant land, exploring the countrysidein search of adventure." She paused once to catch her breath, and then continued, hair shining along her back, and wings gently beating in the breeze. "The best way for me to describe my "element", as you call it, is to say Nature."

She paused againf or breath as the words sunk in to any person who happened to hear them. Her dagger's hilt glitned as some sunlight reflected off its pale surface, and she continued. "My backround is of no use to your ears, so I will skip along my timeframe to the most recent event. This 'element' has shown up many times, but its first occurance was at night. I was cold, and shivering, and I willed myself to be warm. My magic wasn't workin at the time, for I was trying to conceal myself from all eyes, both magic and normal. A nearby plant seemed to grow, and it sheltered me, giving me some warmth. I thought nothing of it. Similar occurances started happening. Once, I even made a staff, the one I wear on my back, grow from the ground."

She paused once more, and then knelt and implored, "All I want is to better understand this talent of mine, to grow in a better understanding of it. To learn to, ifnot master it, to know its nature and why I have gaiend access of it."

Slowly, she rose without waiting for a response, and unsheathed her dagger, and turned towards a target. "If this will help me at all, I will comply." She threw the dagger hard, and some vines wrapped itself around its hilt as it reached closer to its target and slammed into the center. Lyre shivvered violently, and then turned, not daring to look at it any further. "I don't want to accidently use it for ill will or to harm. I want to make sure harm will never come to any living soul." And with that, she sat down, closed her eyes, and waited for the response.

Very well indeed.....Uhhh.....just to let everyone know....the admins will not be placing anyone in a class based on their post's length, anatomy....ect. We will be basing it on how well their character displays and uses their element to hit the target.

And then I shall place you in the intermediate class. After a few more tips, you can move up to the advanced class.

Slowly, Lyre nodded. "I see. Can you give me short directions to the intermediate area?" She asked, a vine creeped out of the ground to retrieve the dagger for her. She reached out, its greeny features well met. Her eyes closed as her hands tightened onto its surface, and absentmindedly she reached up and brushed her hair back out of her eyes. Her wings silently fluttered and she hung just above the wooden floor. She shuddered once, and then opened them, awaiting directions.

Lyre shifted view once, and felt like slicing her throat with her sharp-edged dagger. Her wings stopped fluttering, and she glanced at the sign near the door, and muttered some things under her breath, attempting to decipher the symbols. She nodded to herself, done with ehr view of it, and exited through the door, wether she was going the right way or not. Either way, she was starting to think these people might not be able to help her at all.

Some vines entangled themselves in her hair and spined around her chest as she left, leaving traces of fresh sap along her clothes. Her eyes flashed once in deep thought, and then she turned and headed through the forest, almost undoubtably in the wrong direction of the classes. Then again, since when did a classs have to take place in a building?
