I watched 1 to 3 episodes of My lovely Sam Soon, but I have a question to those who watched it already!

Why is `SAM SOON`supposed to be funny? Is it because its double Ss or ,like one of my korean friends told me, its a too old fashion name? Don`t tell me I will figure it out later in the episodes !!?? ;)

Very nice show. A few unique points that i really like.

1. The challenge of younger male partner
2. "Sam Soon" actually fatten up for the show
3. Daniel is soooo cute!

Honestly, I thought that it is a very good show with a very different storyline and that the lead lady need no be the beauty queen. And in fact, this series is a niche in itself that shows beauty from within instead of the external beauty.

And the storyline is also humourous that after watch a couple of episode that I ended up buying the VCDs to watch and keep.

i have to say that this is one of my all time fav. kdrama. KSS just crack me up evertime i rewatch the drama :lol: but yeah, i want to know why the name Sam Soon is funny too...

my favorite scene in this drama was when kim sam soon gone mountain climbing and she was almost crawling (exaggeration on my part) just to reach the top of the mountain......hehehehe

i love this drama.. it was a really funny and cute drama.. i love the main guy in the drama.. i thought he was pretty cute.. i also thought Daniel was cute too..

YaY I watched this one...pretty good and funny...but everytime i watch it...even tho there is not many cooking/baking scene, i always hungry and want to make some too hehe...and the main actor (i forgot his name) is so handsome haha

this was one of my fav. movies because it brought out romance and comedy at the same time without being to cheesy. the pig was my fav. character in the movie...he he he....i have a little purse like it. :P

heard this drama was good, but i never watched it. i will though when i get the chance to dl.

I couldnt get into this drama for some reason. Everyone is saying is good though. Maybe ill give it another try.

It's been a while since I last saw this show and I did not finish the last few episodes for some reason but I know that I did enjoy watching it. Also I loved seeing all the food in the show :D As for what's wrong with her name if I remember right it had to do with an old fable which most people knew of and was thought to be unlucky and just a bad name.

This Drama was the first one I ever bought... I liked it, funny... Hyun Bin was good in it :P gon' go buy his newest one Snow Queen!

My Name is Kim Sam Soon

Kim Sam Soon (Kim Sun Ah) is a baker who has a talent in making cakes and many other desserts. On Christmas Eve, she caught her boyfriend, Min Hyun Woo (Lee Kyu Han), cheating on her and breaks up on the same night. On that same night, she accidentally went into the men's bathroom and cries in a stall, meeting a hotel owner's son named Hyun Jin Hun (Hyun Bin), a somewhat callous fellow but sometimes considerate guy. By some freak coincidence, Jin Hun needs a baker for his restaurant Bon Appetit and Sam Soon is unemployed. There, she is hired as their restaurant's cheif baker. After a couple of days, she goes on a blind date and Jin Hun is also at the same place she is having her blind date. To annoy Sam Soon, Jin Hun ruin's her blind date and Sam Soon gets mad. Jin Hun doesn't want to upset her and wants to apologize so he follows her all day until Sam Soon gets drunk at a small eating place. Jin Hun carries her on his back to his apartment and spends the night there. Then in the morning, Jin Hun's mom comes to his apartment and sees Sam Soon on the bed, thinking they slept together. So Jin Hun makes her his fake girlfriend to fool his mom. Sam Soon slowly falls in love with Jin Hun and gets even more intense when his ex-girlfriend Yoo Hee Kin (Jung Ryu Won) suddenly appears and ends up fighting for Jin Hun's heart.

This is my favorite Korean Drama ever. I love the series so much especially the loveteam of Kim Sun Ah and Hyun Bin. ; :P

although i recommended it to all my friends, in the end I'm the only one who didn't finish watching it.. how ironic, right :duh: but it is so funny.. i'm also curious why she didn't like the name sam-soon so much.. by the way, the first hero is also acting in a millionaire's first love - a korean movie.. i've downloaded them but haven't had the chance to watch yet.. heard it was something like 'a walk to remember'.. which is sweet but so sad :cry:

I enjoyed it but I wish she wasn't so rough around the edges. I didn't mind her being heavy and everyone mocking her for it. But she had such a foul mouth and didn't clean her act up.Yet I felt her heart was deeper than most people could see. Of course, I just adore him and glad he keeps getting more and more roles that show his acting abilities.

lol.. i loved this drama even though at first the main girl botherered me... Anyways teh name is supose to be funny because it durpose to be a boy's name or sumthing. so i guess it kinda like nameing ur daughter bill. Yeah didn;t really get that.

This drama is the one that made me start my korean drama obsession. I absolutely love everything about this drama, especially Kim Suna. She did an awesome job as Sam Soon, and brave enough to gain weight for this role. I wish they will make a sequel of this drama. Wanna see them married with kids
