I thought it would be nice if we had a space to talk about dramas from other countries apart from Korea.

I am a big fan of Taiwanese dramas, althought I must admit they are often not as good as the Korean ones.

I am currently watching couple Taiwanese shows. They are Devil Beside You and It Started with a Kiss.

I might make up threads about different Taiwanese dramas I have seen and my impressions of them.

So what is everyone else watching?

I'm watching A Chinese Ghost Story very addictive and i love the opening song can't get enough of it, if only i can get it the Ost of it... lol.. might look for it on ebay later :rolleyes:

I am almost half way through getting The Champion torrent. It's a sweet little drama about girls'swimming team from Singapore.

I've been downloading Ghost Story from D-addict too. Currently downloading ep 03 of 40. I haven't watch them yet though, will probably wait till at least downloaded half of the series. so I won't be hanging too much waiting what's next. But I like the actress there. I think her name is Barbie and she starred in meteor Garden as San-chai. I liked her there. She also starred in Mars. I'm kinda hoping this will be a nice one like her other series. :)

The first few eps is very similar to the movie but the after that its totally different.

I've got the Champion but i'm not sure when i'll have the time to watch it..I'm very selective with what i watch now.

@chimie Yes it is Barbie from Mars/MG1 I like it how she isn't so timid in ACGS.

Chime, I really liked her in Meteor Garden, but I couldn't stand her in Mars. I just really hate timid sort of girls.

Btw Kaz,I am not sure if it matters to you, but I now have all of MG2. It's not as good as the first one, but still not bad.

MG2 that you you have is it on avi or dvd? I never really bother to get the rest of it cause i haven't even finished the first one, No! i haven't even started watching it yet LoL.... too much things guess, i don't know which ones to watch first and with more and more less time for watching and very selective now.

And about MG2 ... I really loved MG1 despite all critics but I havent heard from a single person who said MG2 is good thats why I never bothered with it :rolleyes:

I don't think MG2 is that bad. The best thing about it is that it pays more attention to Ximen and Meizuo and if there is one reason to watch it, it's because of that.

The whole San Cai, Yesha and Ah Si triangle isn't completely useless and it does teach us something about real love.

Nooo! two missing episodes?!? I started watching this series it was very like the Chinese ghost movie I agree. I like it a lot and can’t wait for the next episode to be uploaded :( I hope it gets uploaded..

well, currently i am watching devil beside you..OMG its such a good drama. I recommend it to all!!! It's based on a jap manga...i think.. Its such an addictive drama and Mike He is so hot!! Must watch.. :D

I have been watching Love Contract. Its' good but sadly the last 5 eps are a bit crap.

Ever watched Outsiders? I highly suggest that.

would like to watch it badly, but all most of the liks are dead now ... any idea where else i could get this drama.

right now i m watching "return of the condor heroes 06" ... the scenery is great, also the special effects are as they should be nowadays, pretty gals and nice caracters ... so far
i have seen all versions, and comparing all of them with each other the last one wins in all categories except the actin (which is still great) but i liked the caracters and the acting better in the "Richi Ren" version.

last completed drama was "Chinese Paladin" funny, also a good series, but for my taste the characters they choos look to young (not heroic) as they should in ancient dramas.

I enjoy watching Devil Beside You. The p'ek and n'ek are very cute and has great chemistry together. This series remind me of an old thai lakorn...I think the p'ek is hot...Does he has other series out?

Wow...The return of the condor heroes 06 is out...I'll have to watch it...I love the serives with Andy and Ida...I also saw Chris and Faye Wong and Louis and Carmen's serives...How is the new series?

watching a chinese ghost story (yes i'm a little late), but it's really addictive, def a must watch

Tokyo Juliet is a good movie. Ariel Lim is the main actress. It started with a kiss, Devil Beside U, Love Contract, Chinese Palladin, etc are good movies as well.

all i know is that im for sure watching 'It Started With A Kiss #2' when they start airing they start filming in febuary next month and im soo happy and excite i can't wait. :vic:
