That'd be my only complaint as well. I've played it to death on 360 and I love it. It's one of the best games I've ever played. So so funny plus utterly mind blowing, bending and expanding. I love it. Best game on 360 by a country mile.

Portal One comes into one of the select groups of 'The Greatest Game Nobdy Played'.
Well it used to be.
Portal Two has exploded with many people thoriwng i9t 9/10 then saying 'I GOT NO CRIT FOR IT HURR DURR'
Then they go throw out 10/10 to Halo three then compalin at it.
So This Crit I'm gonna rant as much about how Portal 2 is supior to the M-E-D-I-C-O-R-E Halo 3. Not really but thats just somthing I noticed.


So Portal Two whats diffrent?
Well theres the Co=op mode which I'll talk about later
The story is still brilliant, pitchblack and the game is considerly longer
Unless your a monkey and it took you 6 or 7 hours to get throught he first game.

The Graphics are the same if not better, with the more change and more varity of things it still looks better and possibly more tidier than Portal One's animation.
Chell herself has been Fanservice'd a bit but still looks the same demented person. He leg fall thingys look slightly more practical and THE DETAIL ON THAT POTATO.
I will give Portal 2 it's credits for besting Half Life on it's immursion. Yu really do egt the Deslote, abandoment feelign. Seen best in the lower 70's sections.
Although I have seen many points where the Clone Brush comes to midn but thats only fter watching too many videos and such.
Then again you could say about the same about the first game


another I picked up on was the deepness of the hints in the ga,e I dont have the picture but the 'Diffrent' Turret talks about the Greek legend that relates to the story. Its hard to explain but THERES ALOT of liitle hints and sneaks, easter eggs, So many little things. Its rerally had to put it down in the words. But theres some many little things that give it such...depth. I REALLY cannot explain it but Valve has blown my mind.

Gameplay is the same with a few new gimmicks. You ahve the deterence Laser does what it says. The refraction Cube / other name for it that refracts lasers. (Herp derp) Both are used very well are very fun to cosntantly kill your best friend with in CO-op You got the Long blue laser thing that is fun to walk on but is very com[plicated to use in later puzzles. So yeah the New Gimmicks slip in nicly. ALbiet the laser walk convery belt thing is a TAD out of place. The 3 new gels are fun and awesome to combine and use I dont want o spoil anything so I'll leave it there.

The characters and Story is very well written. The game dioes have the effect of slightly too many twists that its gets frustrating but unlike most other games that have this problem I found to orgive portal for it because it was just.....it worked with Chell. The plot carried Chell's frustration. Adding a little more immersion. Or annoyance.

The sotry, Characters and prretty mucht eh same int he brilliant way Valve makes there writing. GlaDOS is still has her Pitch black Humor. Wheatly is.......Perfect. I REALLY don't wantto spoil it.
Cave Johnson has got to be the best CEO on earth.
Oh yes and GLaDOS is awesome now because of her .nname...<SPOILERS>
The voice acting lso fits perfectly well. Wheatly's voice suits him to the tip and back.

I cant say much more ithout spiling much so I'm going to move onto the Co-opa nd Achievements.
Co-op mode is frustratiing if oyu have retarded idiot friends but great fun if you have a decent partner. It has that.....Dead Rising two feel as a Watercooler game.
The acievements I also thoguht were very creative and nicly fitted in. Like the Rattmn's dens that matched up with the Comics aswell.


Yahtzee is will be reviewing this next wednessday. I cant wait to hear his views on it. Considering Portal 1 was the only game he 'had no crit' for it.

SO my advice for Portal Two:

1: EXPLORE EVERYTHING
2: REASD THE RATTMANS COMIC
3: PLAY HALF LIFE
4: Fidn the soun clip videos of the Cores. Theres 5 mins of audio for them. Considering you see them for 1 min and only have 3 mins to actually to see them.
5: DAT ENDING. Dont spoil yourself.


And I wouldnt give this game a score.
The work out a numberical valvue for a game is rubbish.

I'm actually going to buy a brand, spanking new PS3 just to play this game. Good review, but my wallet hates it.

It's brilliant. I'm over half way through it and have loved every second of it. Something Tic Tac didn't mention was how funny it is. Absolutely, side-splitting funny.

I've seen Kobram playing it. I don't know exactly why, but it seams quite dark to me. I'm not very confident I would like to play it ...
