Title: Rift

So apprently it's a Wow-Killer and it's been up for a while.

ANy thoughts on it?

After playing a demo of Rift, and being an Ex-Wow player. I compare the diffrences: Not really a review:

Well, it's much like WoW in several ways. It's got the same sort Ui and quests and it looks very copy pasta from WoW.
After looking for a while, mind you not playing, the advatges of Rift:
-Better Graphics, Well it took untill WotlK just for the fountain in Stormwind to get warer. And when you get Cata, it comes a little cartoony. Which is why I really don't liek the new Wow
-More stuff to dodge this, but it looks generally ALOT harder than WoW. And Wow inrecent places has been dumbed down alot. EVEN THE FREAKIN' STORY HAS. Yeah, so basiclly it's supposed to replace WoW's "End of patch, do nothing" problem/
-More Customizble classes: WoW offers a bunch of races and a bunch of classes. Surfing through the Rift Wiki , there is well....lots of classes under your four types, that is: Warrior, Rogue, Cleric and Mage. You have 8 subtrypes each of these. This already outpasses WoW's 6/7/8 (Depending on what expansion you have) It has less races mindf you, Only having 6 divided much like wow style into Red and Blue. Alliance or Horde, Guardian or Defiant. Same thing. Then again, most RPGS work on someway ike this. Each race, like WoW have thier own
To be honest, there is even 'Prince Hylas' wish pretty much is a copy pasta of Prince Kael'thalas's story from WoW. Well not as in depth.

They are borderline the same. Rift offers more cusomisation, but even though you say that, Wow has 3 talents trees for each class. So all in all Wow could in fact have more classes. Rift has just definiate diferent classses.

I think, it's a simmilar yet nice change from WoW. The best advice I coudl give for ths comes down in parts:

NON WOW PLAYER:
Try it over WoW. Same thing, less money, less expansions. Because if you are going to get WoW at least get The original and BC because thats when WoW was at it's peak. I still think it's a better way of getting into a MMO

WOWPLAYER:
If you are bored of WoW / A fanboy who hates cata / All you do is farm or auction hourses. Then try it
If you still have something to do on WoW. Maybe you are likt lvl 67 or somthing like that, then really you should stay playing it.
Because your obviously a nutjob for getting into it this late.
