Anyway, I'll start the review with a touching story.
Still, I decide to review this game at my delightful anger at Brink. A few days ago, mys siter broguth a game called "Brink" After yellign at me how cool it was I decided to look it up. And the first thing I noticed was it saying
"A Brilliant first person class shooter that rivals the like of team fortress two"
Right there and then I put my 17th cup of tea down will a gentle bang, and went to my sisters to play it. Bearing in mind It's been a year-or-so since I bothered to pick up TF2 again.
After playing for about half an hour I put it down, took out the disk. Fou8nd the case, and looked at how much she paid. £35 quid! SERIOUSLY?!
Anyway going home I went onto steam and saw how my 'The Orange box' was.

For FIVE games. (Okay you can argee three, but I refuse to cound Portal as half a game.)
Taking note at this I played teamfortress two. And then realsied it had no single player campgine,. Fine. Wasn't supposed to anyway. I went on 'Offlien Practise' Had a couple of games with the AI which i swear to god are like real humans. Not perfect, not entirly dumb, compitent at what they do.
And then it dawned on me.
"This is just like BRinks Single player campainge"
Still. checking up on Yahtzee, I foun that he had Reviewed Brink aswell.
After catching up with 3 of his videos. And BRink. I realsied that he mentioned TF2. Which kinda promoted me to kinda compre the the two. Although I hadn;t played Brink properly so I can't say much.
Anyway This little prologue kindasets it up on how I'm gonna review TF2.
Firstly, I'm going to start about it's rather, unique art syle.
Cellshaded, but not anime /cartoon is, but not overly serious. I mean, I know it's not as original as TWEWY, but it's still diffrent. Still kinda relaxing. And it does kinda take a break for all the toher games going "LOOK HOW REALISTIC GAMES IS" I'm gonna go back to a yahtzee quote again when he had a little nag about "Games are being too realistic and no fun". And that kinda is what i liked bout TF2. It's a brillaint well done game, but it takes, very little seriously, and the right things seriously.
Thats deivanting from my point though so I'm gonna skip off and talk about the gameplay.
Gameplay wise I lvove TF2.
From all the classes being so unique and having very few similitaries between them. The Developer commentry said that "They wanted each class to eb completely diffrent. So you could tell what class it was, just by thier shillouetes" and it reall is! Just like that!
The Heavy for people who don't care for tactics and jsut want to shoot things.
The medic for the people who suck at fighting.
The Eingeers for people who want to take it easy.
The Demoman for black scottish cyclops.
And other things. Isai int he video about how in our group we each have our own class. And it does kinda reflect each other but thsats going to deep.
I also liek Grenades / jarates are all easy to throw and use, even the demoman's rockets.
Like Grenades in Battlefied are annoying as to use and work with crazy mechanics.
It all kinda makes TF2 a nice pick up and play game.
Also going back to brink for a second, they have custom izeable hats and clothes and thats all good and fun, for the sims. But brink. It's REALLY hard to tell whos Red and who's blue.
It gets REALLY confusing and annoying.
Tf2 has the hats yes and they are kinda funny for bats and giggles but don't interfer too muchw ith said game itself.
There is even lots of mods / skins and thingsyou can have and such. (I have travis touchdown as scout, nurse Joy as medic, Phoenix Wright as Spy.))
Replay value, unless you an idiot who thinks getting achievements / hats = replay value then thweres not really that much, but there ssi no single player campginge is there though?
The game itself, is just, a pick up and play game. You can go on servers, maybe play with skins and ragdolls, and things liek Gmod and such.
You have think of this game not look other ganes. Not like portal. You should think o it like a pick up play. Almost liek a casual game.
The fanbase is casual.
I'm gonna try to conclude now as I need to see my dad in hospital but I will say i like this game. I love it actually. When I need to relieve some stress and on't want all the drama and such that C.O.D makes.
Just want to have fun with some original characters.
Each class si unique.
It's fun. It's entertaining.
Why is the gaming industry so......serious and realistic. Lighten up guys. Watch soem TF2 videos from Rubberfruit / Minifrit / Valave videos.
