The Future Of the KMFSL

Is possibly in jeopardy.

I just don't see enough interest going around, and it's hard to bring new people into a 3rd-year league.



I've been thinking about shutting down the KMFSL, it's been a great run, and possibly, through all of our 100+ members' help, the greatest GM Sim League to have ever been started. This wouldn't be the end though, as when/if this gets shut down, a new one will come up, using Madden 2007, and a clean slate. I'd give ex-KMFSL members first choice in teams, and we can continue running that league as we've done this one.



So, yea, gimme your feedback, I know most of you won't be happy, but it's the only way that we're possibly going to get full attendence.

Do know that this will shut down until after season 3 is over, if it does.

I see what youre saying, and agree with you on most of it.
Activity has dropped, and its not the same as it was the first and even second season. Itd be sad leaving everything here, but we might have to if we want to have a better future league.

I'll do whatever the majority wants but if you scrap this season could you at least sim it all the way through all at once so I can be named the champ?!?

Madden 07' would definately boost activity. If we do switch I want it to go on record now that I want the Dolphins .

Well hold on, do know that we are finishing this season at regular pace. The most I'll do is three sims a week, I want to still give people a chance to turn their team around rather than half-assing it.





Week 11 is Thursday, 12 is Saturday.

13 on Monday, 14 Wednesday, 15 Thursday, 16 & 17 Sunday

Wildcard and Divisional on the 18th

Confrence on the 20th

And a live finale of the KMFSL later that week

Are we going to have a fantasy draft in the '07 league?

More than likely not, I think we'll just head in with default rosters. We'll have that 1-2 week period for everyone to make any pre-season trades that they want to.

I think fantasy would be more inticing to people and having a serpintine draft would even it out.

I need:

1. Someone to post hte link to IGN with the MAdden 2007 default rosters, that way when we get started, they can just go and get their rosters from there.

2. Someone to copy the league rules from here to the FLSL

3. Someone to copy the Free Agency rules from our FA forum to the new one

4. Someone to take the IGN FA List and organize it in the FA Forum at the FLSL in ONE TOPIC

I'll finish the Roster forums tommorow or this weekend, I want all the board features set up by the time we open at the end of September.

I also want 3 people who can be dedicated co-admins.

My preferences would be Kolache, Papapuff, and Spartans7.


I understand if you can't, I'll move to picking someone else. If you've had attitude problems in the past with peopel here, it might be best if you DIDN'T get the co-admin position.

I tried to help but I can't find the league rules, there are 2 or 3 different rules for free agency (differences in last minute bidding rules), and IGN doesn't list the free agents. I may have overlooked them but I don't think so. If you can post some links I will do the rest. I'm also interested in a co-admin job.
