WOW, the people of Bodmin (boredom) have spoken out to me and eyedealsounds has reacted to the apathy shown by the public. Eyedeal Sounds has stopped putting on any gigs through the rest of may. Well they did warn people, if they didn't show their support, the gigs would suffer. Also i heard that someone told Andy (eyedealsounds), that the gig had been cancelled for tonight! All i can say is don't believe what you hear, check out the website to see if any dates have been cancelled.
Anyway after that little rant, on to the gig review;
2 SICK MONKEYS:
Were up first this time, a change in the listngs, but all good. They ran through their set, which was dogged by tech problems at the start. Amps kept on cutting out.
Never one to let that stopped them, they played on as the guys from KDD jumped into action to try and solve it.
The 2SM's set, was a blistering set, from start to finish, you can't fault these guys.
KELLY DON'T DRIVE:
It's been a while since they were back here, but nothing has been lost from the performance they always give. Cutting through their set like a hot knife through butter. These guys just get better and better with each show.
HANDBAGS AT DAWN:
What can you say, people didn't know what to make of this lot as they punched their way through their set. Great sound, great songs and great replies to the hecklers in the crowd. Well worth seeing live, and they came from London, just to be let down by Cornish apathy.
