Shiroi Ryu

[Tsukihime]

By the temple of Michiko, Shiroi river flows steadily surrounding it. The guardian of the river is the Shiroi Dragon. Those with hearts that are not pure cannot fight the rivers' current and is dragged away...

Luna, waited at the bank of the river, slowly, the Shiroi dragon surfaced. "Hey boy." Luna stroked the pearl scales of the river spirit. The magnificent dragon shook itself off and the fur on its back dried itself.

Sheaka watched closely as the girl made contact with the dragon.
" 'Pure hearts,' eh?" Silently moving through the trees, she kept one eye on the dragon and one eye on the river as she spproached the bank.

[Tsukihime]

Immediately realizing that something was admist, the dragon threw itself up to its full length and roared, it's waves of purity basked the entire surroundings of the temple scouraging for intruders. Immediately, it's eyes locked on Sheaka.
"Stop! Shiroi, stop, no it's a friend." The dragon backed down and eyed the girl nervously. "Sheaka, this is the spirit of Shiroi river, the river stops the Goddess from going on a rampage to cause destruction to the world. It's purity stops her from crossing."

Cover blown, Sheaka jumped out of the foliage and walked up to the bank normally . . . but still keeping an eye on the dragon who returned the favor.
:Goddess, eh? Well, I eard tell there's a treasure in this area and I mean to claim it."
Here eyes searching the river, Sheaka contemplated her options.

[Tsukihime]

"Treasure?" Luna looked confused. "I don't know of treasure but, he might." The dragon looked annoyed, but ducked back into the water. "He's going to take a look around." Luna smiled, "Anything specific you're looking for? Treasure can be anything."

[Sh34k4]

"To tell you the truth, I don't really know, y'know?" Sheaka shrugged. "It was just one of those things you overhear in the Pub, y'know?" ::shifty eyes:: "Uh, tell your buddy thanx for me, but I think I'll take a look around for myself."

[Tsukihime]

I wouldn't travel too far, treasure around here is bound to be trouble. Hello, you're at Michiko's temple, anything can happen." Luna glanced at the temple. "Want me to help you look?"

[Sh34k4]

"Sure," Sheaka grinned with thieving glee, "two gold diggers are better than one, neh?" She reached into the duffel she carried on her back, "Take one of this," she handed Luna a shovel, "and this," a small compasss,"and this . . ."

[Tsukihime]

"Whoa, that's a hell of a lot in a duffel..." Luna looked skeptical. Suddenly, the dragon resurfaced. It gestured to the left of the temple to the entrance of a cave....

[Sh34k4]

"Of course there's a lot!" She shifted the duffel back onto her shoulders. "Never know what you'll need when treasure hunting." Looking at the dragon, she indicated the cave. "There, eh? I'll meet you there. Got some things I need to take care of." And with that she disappeared into the brush.

[Tsukihime]

Luna approached the cave doubtful. Hmmmm...treasure eh? She gestured to the large white deity, it began to shrink till it was about palm sized and spread tiny clear wings and took flight.....flying....and landed on Luna's shoulder. It folded its wings with a tinkling sound. "There, there, now we can explore." She pet the dragon with a finger. Lifting up the large shovel, she began to enter the cave.

Sheaka was walking along the bank and testing the water.

. . . Something about the water just didn't seem to pan out with her. "I'll just check this out and then go join them . . ."

[Tsukihime]

Meanwhile Luna and the chibi dragon were cautious in cave. The large cave was dark and it was all thanks to night vision or else everything would be pitch black. Luna's nocturnal instincts immediately picked up another presence nearby. She spun around and the dragon lost balance for a second. The sharp turn caused Luna to trip and the presence immediately disappeared.
"....owww...." Luna sat up. Where was Sheaka when you needed her?

On the river bank, Sheaka was rubbingher chin. The water was . . . What had Luna said? Cursed, was it? Hmm. Maybe if she . . .

Unsheathing her katana, Sheaka ran her index finger down the dull edge of the blade and said a Command Word, making the blade's edge freeze w/ ice magic. Dipping the blade into the water, she used her Mana to spread the ice.

[Tsukihime]

Luna silently got up. Suddenly, the dragon gave a shriek!
"Ryu chan, what's wrong?!" but it was obvious, the dragon was freezing up, it's body became ridgid and the ice slowly stablized its body. Someone had frozen the river. "Damn!" Luna ran out of the cave carrying the frozen deity.
