The Untold Tales of Shinoki

I got bored and so I wrote this. Hope you like it, the first chap. of The Untold Tales of Shinoki.


Ch. 1 And so it Begins


In the alsome world of Shinoki, there is a great country under the ruling ment of a king called Oran. During this time a great evil who plans on to destroy King Haden and rule over all of Oran. Though there was one thing that the evil one did not know about is that even with King Haden dead they were not the one liable to take over the throne for King Haden hade a daughter and even with his wife gone he was still able bring her up with the help of his helpful sorceress Desdemona. Yet even with all the knights and weapons in the whole kingdom of Oran, she alone could not be able to beat the evil that has haughted their land.
"Princess....Oh princess where are you?" yelled the sorceress Desdemona. Out of no where a smooth calming voice answered the call. "Desdemona what do you need now?" asked the princess. The worried sorceress starts to run toward where she heard the annoyed princess. When she reached the room she saw a young girl no older than twelve sitting at a desk, but there was something strange about the girl she was not like the sorceress. She was all dressed in black and purple and always had a sword and shield on her back. "Princess Xaria we need you!" answered Desdemona. "What do you need me for? I'm very busy at the moment" asked Xaria. "I'm sorry but its was very important that I found you" replied Desdemona. "Then what is it?" demanded Xaria. Xaria was starting to get very impaction with the sorceress that she was about to walk out of the room to find anougther room to concentrate in. "We are being attacked on the far side" said Desdemona. Xaria just looked over at the worried Desdemona. "Then what are you doing here" questioned Xaria. Looking into the great nothingness of the room Desdemona trys to think of a answers for the irritated princess. "Well I came to tell you" answered the frightened sorceress. "Ok you told me now go and assemble the knights" suggested Xaria. "Thats the problem all the knights are already out on the field fighting but its not enough!" exclaimed Desdemona. Turning around in her chair Xaria points out the door while telling Desdemona to go into the city and find some villagers who will designate their lives to help protect the castle.
When Desdemona reached the City of Oran she announced that the lovely Princess Xaria needed their help to protect the castle, but awhile away there was a fifteen year old girl with black shiny hair, black furry ears, a blue tunic, and a big black bushy tail. "Pssh. Who would ever want to take that job. Everyone knows the princess is a spoiled little brat" whispered the girl. "Hey Minigh watcha talking about?" asked a male voice. The girl soon turned around to look at who was talking to her. "Huh!?! Oh its only you Umeko. You scared me there for a sec" said Minigh, her fur on the top of her tail where all sticking up. "Oh sorry about that. I just saw you standing all by yourself and thought that you needed some company" laughed Umeko. Threating to punch Umeko, Minigh just laughed with him. "Oh Umeko you always make me laugh. So what are you doing back so soon I thought that you were supposed to be in the Unami Forest for the rest of the year?" mentioned Minigh. Umeko looked at Minigh but there was no happiness in his eyes only fear and disappointment. "Minigh I came back only because I was sent a message from the princess to come back and fight as a knight because she is running low on knights" said Umeko sadly. All Minigh could do was just stare at the tall blonde haired long pointed ear Oranian in front of her. "But you have no wepon or know how to use a wepon" added Minigh. Umeko looked at Minigh with an angered look on his face. "Yeah well Princess Xaria promised to train me how to use wepons like a sword and arrows" explained Umeko. " Well I would never fight for anyone" replied Minigh. "What if it was for protecting your home? Would you fight then?" questioned Umeko. " Maybe but I would have to think long and hard about it" awnsered Minigh. "Then you might want to think about fighting as a knight" suggested Umeko. "Hmm. I might just think about that" said Minigh.

Ch.2 The Legend of Unami Forest

In the Unami Forest there is a legend told among all the villagers that there are strange monsters that are said to have the power to take the shape of and Oranian, but the thing that they don't know is that the legends are true. "Lurking in the darkness of the Unami Forest is told where one of the most disgusting monsters live" explains a young woman. Coming from behind the woman a voice calls out to her. "Wow that is really deep, Roxxi" said the voice. The woman turns her head to look at the figure. "Hello Nen. I didn't know that you were listening" said Roxxi calmly. Nen then walked in front of Roxxi so they could talk face to face. "So where did you hear that legend from?" asked Nen. Roxxi then stands up from her stump that she was sitting on. "I heard it from a resident of the City of Oran talking about it" replied the women. The man starts to walk off into the darkness of the forest. "I really do hate them" came the man. The women starts to fallow him. "Hate is such a strong word" said Roxxi.
While in the City of Oran Minigh was having a hard time deciding whether or not she wanted to become a knight in Princess Xaria's army. "So have you made a decition yet?" asked Umeko. Minigh goes and sits down at her desk to think. "I'm trying to decide, but I think that I've decided to become a knight" answered Minigh. Minigh got up and went to the door to go over to the castle. "Um, Umeko do you think that this is a good idea?" questioned Minigh as she was walking out the door. "If its a good idea to you then its a good idea to me" answered Umeko. Minigh let go of the door knob and closed the door. "No I can't do it. I just can't" Minigh quickly added. Umeko walked up to Minigh and put his hand on her shoulder. "Well I'm sorry to hear that. I'm really gonna miss you" whispered Umeko. Minigh turns over and starts to cry on Umeko. "Umeko I don't want you to leave. It was hard enough watching you leave to go into Unami Forest" cried Minigh. Umeko rapped his arms around Minigh to comfort her. "Why did you hate that?" asked Umeko. Minigh raps her arms around Umeko as well to try and stop him from leaving. " Because I thought that I would never see you again. I mean aren’t those legends of the forest true?" Minigh looked up at Umeko. Umeko nodded and answered yes to her question.
Over in the forest Roxxi and Nen were out on the forest edge watching Xaria's army march off into the distance. "Where do you think their going?" questioned Roxxi. " I don't know and I don't care" said Nen. "Watcha guys looking at?" came a voice from the deep forest. "Well if it isn't Yukki." mentioned Roxxi. "What do you want?" asked Nen. "Its a free forest I can go where ever I want Nen" Yukki said. "You better watch your tone girl" growled Nen. "Come and get me fox boy" threatened Yukki.




Ch. 3 The Background of Unami's Forest


Unami Forest is one of the only places in all of Oran that is forbidden to the residence of Shinoki, only because of the legends that surround the forest. "Beings please. Do we need to show our true power to the Oranians?" asked Roxxi. Yukki and Nen stop their fight and look at the little hedgehog girl. "Your right. We shouldn't expose ourselves like you." Yukki reminded Roxxi of what she did some time ago. Roxxi, Yukki, and Nen then recognizes fighting each other is like when Roxxi showed to the whole world what she can do.
Walking along in the vast greenery of the Unami Forest lives many creatures who was intrusted with amazing powers that not even the Oranian knew about. "Where the heck do you think that your going?" cried a male voice. "I'm just going to the forest's edge Nen" called back a female voice. The little boy ran up to the little girl. "You know that Lord Phoenix said that no one is to leave Unami's Forest" said Nen. The girl kept on walking toward the edge of the forest. "You know that Lord Phoenix is just a crazy old bird. And that Queen Unami died a long time ago. So we can start calling it just Unami Forest" motioned Roxxi. Nen ran in front of Roxxi to stop her from going out onto Oran Field. "You should take back the stuff you said about Lord Phoenix, and its by law that you call the forest by its full name" reminded Nen. "You better get out of my way Nen” demanded Roxxi. "Why should I? You can't do anything to me" taughnted Nen. Roxxi pushed Nen out of her way and ran to the edge of Unami Forest. "Oh great Oranians look at what the creaters of the forest can do" shouted Roxxi. All the elves that was out that day heard her and looked straight at her. Roxxi then with the knowledge of having everyone's attention then turned into one of them. "What in tarnation is that?" wandered an Oranian man. "It looks like one of our own only with animal ears" replied an Oranian woman. "Everybody here is the all mighty power of the forest animals" shouted Roxxi. All the Oranians started to panic and run around spreading the word that the Unami Forest was planning an attack on the city. "We must burn the forest down" suggested a villager. "Are you kidding if we do that the forest spirits will be even angrier at us" said another villager. "Then from now on Unami's Forest will forever be known as Unami Forest and will be forbidden to all of Oranians" announced King Haden. "And anyone who defies to obey us shall be brutally punished" added Queen Kinoki.
Coming back to reality Yukki then noticed a fourth person listening in on their story. "So you were the reason why Unami Forest is forbidden is to us!?!" yelled a girl. The little group turned around and got ready to fight. "Name yourself stranger!" demanded Yukki. The young woman stands up and brushes herself off. "I am Minigh. One of the only women in my village that know how to fight" Minigh said while introducing herself. "Then what are you doing here if its forbidden to your kind?" asked Roxxi. "Because I am known as one of the creatures from the forest cause of my ears and tail" answered Minigh. "Then why do they let you stay in the village?" asked Nen. "Because I am one of the Oranians not one of the forest" said Minigh.
