Furious, Thrushpaw bounded into the den. She couldn't believe she had a crush on Ashpaw! She couldn't believe she even LIKED him! She hated him and that suck-up kittypet. She wnated to flay them both; she couldn't believe she would have to share a den for either of them!!
"I hate them both." she muttered to herself. "I hate Ashpaw and I hate JoJo. From now on they're nothing but enemies. From now on I won';t even speak to them!" Thrushpaw crescendoed on her last statement, ending with a snarl. Her green eyes flashed with hate, her claws unsheathing and sheathing randomely.

Dappledpaw padded into the den, raising an invisible brow at Thrushy. "Thrushy? What's wrong?" She asked, concerned yet curious. Dappley plopped down beside her friend, prodding her gently.

Thrushpaw whipped her tail around like a gray tornado. Her jade eyes flashed like green lightning. Hate for Ashpaw and the kittypet flared inside of her like a hurricane. But she had to reply to her friend. "Oh... Ashpaw brought in this kittypet... and he sorta insulted me... so now I hate him." tired now, she dropped her pretty head onto her storm-gray paws.

The tortie she-cat got to her paws, looking out of the den at the other two. "You think that Ashpaw likes the kittypet better than you, dont you? Well, the kittypet doesn't seem to like Ashpaw, as in like you do, but I dont know about him liking the kittypet. Thrushy, if you were a kittypet, would you like to be in a clan?" She asked, trying to make Thrushy understand.

Thrushpaw shook her head fiercly. "No, no, no! I don't think that kittypet likes him. Now I just hate Ashpaw! He was being bitter when I tried to make the kittypet turn back, and possibly save her life! Now we hate each other, I guess." She thought about Dappley's next question. "If I were a kittypet, I would put up with what I have and take my chances. If my life were on the line, balanced between here and life... I would choose life, no matter how much i would long to venture out." she sighed and looked up Dappledpaw. "Dappley, did you know my mother was a kittypet? She died from sickness before I got to know her. I know my brother did too, but I don't know about my sister."

Ashpaw padded in, feeling a chill in the air because of Thrushpaw. He sat down, acknowledging her with a curt nod, and then smiled at Dappledpaw. "Hey. I have a new friend for you to meet.' He said to the Medicine Cat Apprentice, ignoring Thrushpaw. He wasn't the only one who was mad.

Dappledpaw smiled half-heartedly. She did not have a problem with the new apprentice, but the tortie she-cat was not looking forward to having to share a den with Thrushy and the new cat. Cool. Hi! Dappley looked to the ex-kittypet, a friendly manner in her words and actions.

JoJo sat down beside Aspaw, glancing nervously at Thrushpaw. She smiled inwardly at this new cat, though she seemed friendly enough. Her tail was curled tightly around her rump, the she-cat tense.

Thrushpaw's jade eyes narrowed and turned away, refusing to be in the den now. A rush of fury sped through her. The only reason why she was in this Clan was her mother's death wish; that she would join a Clan and live. She shuddered, gray fur rippling.
