rules - You must register using your characters first and last names. After you have registered, post an application form in the correct forum with your character's file so their history can be approved by the staff. Please wait until you have been accepted to start posting around the forum.
- You may have as many characters as you like, as long as you intend to keep them all active. If a character becomes inactive, add a note to their signature or change its member title indicating so. If you no longer wish to maintain a character you have created, please just sign out of that account and it will be removed during our clean-up.
- Please make believable characters to suit the plot-line. No one is master of the world or the absolute scum of the universe. We allow just about any species you can think of, but please have some common sense. Not every demon is the highest ranking and same goes for all races, if you wish to make a character who's species/ranking may make a very dramatic impact on the school PM a admin/supermod first.
- You may be in up to twenty threads at the same time. That means twenty threads per player, not per character.
- Your posts must be written in third person, past tense, as if you were writing a story. No double posting in threads, be patient for a reply, and remember: the 'edit' button is your friend.
- I would prefer if you used the correct accounts to reply in threads but this not something that will be enforced. Just think about it, it's easy to switch now and it looks a lot better.
- While we won't enforce a minimum of lines per post, we encourage you to try your best and provide a good amount of details in roleplaying. It helps add depth to your story and make your replies fuller and you will find it to be far more entertaining and easier to get involved in the story.
- Sexual and violent content is allowed, though if you intend to do so then please make a note in the title/subtitle, so that others may skip it if they desire. Please try and keep smut to an absolute minimum, since this content isn't the goal of the rp.
- You may not kill/rape/attack/move/etc another character without permission from their player. So absolutely no 'god-modding'.
- If you are leaving on holiday or becoming inactive for a certain time, please be sure to let us know, especially the people with who you are currently in a thread.
- When you start a thread you must state it's status, ie; open, reserved, private, etc. When you are done you must change it's status to finished or closed so the staff know which threads need moved. Also, unless you have contacted a staff member or made a thread asking, any thread with no replies for 30 days will be closed.
- If you wish to talk to the other player directly in a thread, please do so using the appropriate markers such as [] or (), but try keeping that to a minimum. To contact another player, use PMs. They are there for a reason.
- Foul language, sexual content and other such themes are allowed and the staff is not to be held responsible for the contents of the posts made here. We ask you have some common sense in using of those, and any content that is considered intentionally disrespectful will earn the member responsible for it a warning.
| QUOTE | Guys, some tips when making new chars. 'kay. I'm getting a little bored seeing tons of beautiful, perfectly formed emos/scene kids.
Not EVERYONE has the perfect figure.
No-one is PERFECT.
Not everyone is NICE.
Be CREATIVE.
I do not want to see people with tons of characters who are the same whiny emos, hot guys/girls, branch out. Try to play a different role.
I am seeing lots and lots and lots of 'emos.' Look around your own school. Take inspiration. There are tons of 'genres'; jocks, preps, science/band geeks, punks, goths, artists, burn outs, the popular kids, the AV kids, mathletes.. Come on! Show me how creative you can be.
Now, with girls, how many 6ft blond, big boobed, perfect assed, tiny waisted gorgeous fifteen year olds do you know? Be realistic. Please. Not every girl has a tiny waist, or big boobs, or hot asses or is so stunning guys drool as hey walk past. That's boring.
And guys, not every guy is sweet, handsome, tall, has a six pack and a smile to die for. It just doesn't happen.
Kids, this is a high school! In Scotland! Not an acting agency in Hollywood!
