The IceHogs are off to an 2-0-0-0 start. I know its early to tell how good this team is but how bout we start up this fan board and get to talking about our boys.

Lets go Hogs! keep up the hard work and win some more games for us!

If the Hawks stay healthy this season, it should be a good season here at the Hogs. This team could bring back memories of season 1 in the A. With Dent at the helm this ship should stay the course and end up with plenty of plunder from the trip. It is Columbus Day after all.

One thing that I would like to see if some scoring from other younger guys besides the vets. Again its early and they are just getting into the groove of things but if they did this, the Hogs are going to be a tuff team to beat.

I was listening to Hog talk the other day and they said this is the first time the team has gotten off to a 2-0 start, I just find that hard to believe, but it must be true. The team has looked good the first couple of games. We went to Peoria Sunday and the Hogs got off to a slow start but played much better as game went on. A tip of the hat to Alec Richards who had two very good games and I thought he kept the Hogs in the game Sunday in the first period.
Hopefully the Hogs can win two in Abbotsford or at the worst split. Good luck guys.

And dont forget ...

WELCOME BACK JEREMY MORIN!

2 GAMES and atleast 2 GOALS!

if he stays healthy, he and klink could pace the team in points per game....

A tough weekend for the IceHogs. I thought thought they should have at least come out of the weekend with one win. Putting 85 or so shots on goal for the two games you would think the Hogs would have one win. The power play just killed them these two games. Good to see Morin and Ben Smith back and playing hard.

Didn't take long for the Hogs to get to last place in the division. The good news is we're only in 5th place instead of 8th like last year.

I'd like to agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

Its all coach peters fault. If he only knew how to coach this team would be unstoppable. O wait hes not here anymore. I wonder where all the hockey knowledge on this board that blamed peters for everything last season is at now.

This is still a young team so I think there are still going to be some growing pains, but I would like to see them simplify things a little. Maybe start with defence and work there way out. Keep guys from bumping the goalie, clear the creas for them things like that. Then work towards a good solid first pass out of the zone, not always going for the long pass that seems to happen more often than not, and working into the offencive zone. It may be boring for awhile to sloow this team down, but I think if they can take care of the little things first there is to much talent not to win games
