Looks like Muskegon should have a pretty good team this season.

I know that most people would not report this
as he was not a Ice Hog for long. Their goalie
Ronnie Vogel is now retired and is a Ass. Coach
for the Texas Brahmas. They just won their league
this past season.
Ronnie Vogel marrried a lady that worked for the
Ice Hogs, Andrea Molter.

Ronnie was actually our goaltender for two different seasons - one under Mark Bernard and one under Steve Martinson.

Vogel's most famous moment in IceHogs history was his goalie fight with Fort Wayne's Kelly Shields.

Thanks for that update, Indiana. Ronnie is/was one of our (my daughter and I) favorite players. The kid still has the signed stick he gave her.

The Brahmas, are they the same team that Donnie Marghetti played for?

Margetti played for Odessa.

Chad Woolard played for the Brahmas.

Ronnie's wife, her parents are good friends of our.
Every time they go and see them they get me a
signed t-shirt. I have them from when he played
with the Rockford Icehogs, Port Huron IceHawks,
Corpus Christi Stingrays ( they are know now as
the Ice Rays) and last years championship t-shirt
from the Texas Brahmas of the CHL that he is a
Ass. Coach with.

Ronnie Vogel is one of the nicest young men that you
would ever meet. I was surprised how small he was for
a goalie. I see him once in a while when he come to
Fowler to see his in-laws with his wife.

I think I still have a video of Vogel's goalie fight in Basingstoke. I'll post it if I can find it.
