Change of General Membership Meeting

Dear Fellow Boosters,
The decision was made tonight by the Executive Board of the Rockford IceHogs Booster Cub to move our General Membership meeting to Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at the Stockholm Inn on Charles Street in Rockford. The meeting starts at 6:00pm, and as always the club will provide your beverage and dessert. If you would like to have dinner and visit with other club members prior to the meeting, people will start arriving around 5:00pm.
The decision to move the meeting is so that booster members can attend the press conference being held by the Blackhawks and IceHogs to introduce our new Coach. Booster members had asked if moving the meeting was what should be done, and after talking to the board, it was decided that we should all go and welcome Coach Peters to town. The press conference will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn of Rockford, at 7pm.

Our Executive Board elections will be held.
The following persons are nominated for offices:
President: Todd Kisner was nominated by Keith Cummings, and accepts
Jenn Tobin was nominated by Scott Axe, and accepts
Treasurer: Kelly Cummings was nominated by Nancy Marshall, who said she would accept or decline at the time of the election
Karen Grahn was nominated by Keith Cummings, who was absent from the meeting and could not accept or decline
Sergeant at Arms: Angela Axe was nominated by Valerie Tidwell, and declines
Member at Large-Membership: Michelle Oglesby was nominated by Nancy Marshall, and declines
Nancy Marshall was nominated by Keith Cummings, and accepts
Member at Large-Hospitality- there are no nominations for this position at this time

Please come and cast your ballot for the officer election.

If you need to turn in your money for On The Waterfront, you must come to the press conference to give your money to Julia. If is your responsibility to make sure you secure your pass to the event. All money has to be turned in on Friday.
