That's OLD OLD news, the demo was out a long time ago, but it was like pre-alpha-version beta0.00001 It was terrible looking and so I took it down after a while. It was really just a tech demo to show people I was working on stuff. However, soon Chapter One will be out, and then you can play that. Btw, welcome to the board. smile.gif

yeah i downloaded dim3, i have no idea how to use it cuz im a noob 16 year old =/ .

hey is this gonna be released as stand alone? i wont need to use dim3 to play it right?

Yes, Marathon Infested will be released as a stand alone game. No additional software is required.

thought so.

so do you have any estimate on the next release? (doesnt have to be even 50% correct lol i just want an idea)

btw im trying to get into dim3 but i am so clueless, do you have any helpful tips? any thing would help......

The demo's weapons are all complete. The monsters are mostly complete, and the levels are coming along wonderfully, I'd say at LEAST %50. smile.gif

Also, about Dim3, try this:

Open editor.
Click cancel when it prompts you to open a map.
Select File>New.
Type the name of your map, and the hight, size .ect
Make the hight about 35, the width and length about 150.
You now have a square room with a light in the middle and a player spot as well.
Click the red arrow on the above toolbar to test your level.
When you're done playing around, quit the engine and then try getting a feel for the segements, and how they work in map creation, try moving around the different pieces and creating new ones. Try making angled floors, (drag vertixes up or down) basically just fool around until you get a basic idea of what you're doing. It's a good idea to make this first level like this, and it looks nice too. smile.gif
