Civilization, Part 1

Chapter 1
Rayleen fell back onto the bed and sighed. It was a springy and comfy beds, the ones that you could fall sleep instantly on. Corry couldn’t help laughing at Rayleen’s actions. Rayleen had blond hair and green sparkly eyes; Corry had brown eyes and red hair, bright red hair. They were on a trip together in Australia, Sydney. Rayleen was feeling stiff and tired from there long flight. She had long legs and was a good swimmer. She grinned up at Corry.
“Don’t laugh at me because I am tired!” she said pretending to be angry.
“Yeah, what ever.”
Rayleen started laughing, then stood up, she walked to there packed closet and took out her swim suit, thinking a bit of swimming would help her stiff legs.
“I’m going swimming, want to come?”
“Nah, I’m going to sleep.”
“That’s all you ever do!”
“So, it’s fun.”
Rayleen sighed and went into her bathroom; she got changed into her swimsuit. It was red and orange, she never liked the fancy ones with all the flowers and shapes and weird things, and she was going to stick with her own plain swim until she grew out of it. She headed out of into the long hallway with a towel around her waist, she smelled the chlorine and walked down the hall, turning right and then left, going down two flights of stairs and going through the main room were you signed in and walking out, luckily she had flip flops on. She walked across the road and towards the pool house. It was a large red and black house that also smelled of chlorine, she could smell chlorine in the hall because of people coming into the hall after a swim and leaving the smell to linger.
She walked into a large room with were there was a giant pull that was split in half. One sighed was for dive race, you had to sign up to go in the race and wait till it was your turn. The other side was just for swimming; you got to dive in if you wanted to. She decided to just swim. She put her towel on a chair and climbed up onto the jumping board, then did a perfect dive into the water and lots of people clapped. She smiled, it was a nice feeling and the water was heated to be warm so you weren’t cold as soon as you got in.
She swam on the bottom for a minute then came up for air. Somebody did a canon ball and she got bombarded in glass, she giggled and started doing rounds, and every so often dolphin dives. She went down the pool once or twice then just floated. She gasped and sucks in a mouthful of air as someone grabbed her foot and pulled her under. She came face to face with her old friend Megan when she opened her eyes. When Rayleen had been a little kid she had lived in Sydney until her mother had got a job as a doctor in Canada and they had moved there. She pushed up and took a breath of air, a second later Megan appeared in front of her.
“Megan!” sputtered Rayleen.
“Rayleen!”
“It has been so long!”
“I’m know!”
“What have you been doing?”
“Oh, nothing, a bit of this, a bit of that, and hanging out with my new boyfriend.”
“OH! I want to meet him!”
“Ok, he’s over there, I’ll go and get him!”
Megan jumped to the bottom and swam of. Rayleen smiled and started to float again. Megan was so pretty, she had blue eyes and black hair and a very nice tan, usually she was pale and that gave her a ghostly appearance, but she always seemed to have had a good tan. She was really tall and could run longer distances then her. A second later Megan was back with a boy with brown hair and eyes.
“Hi,” he said.
“Hey, I’m Rayleen.”
“I’m Sean,” He held out her hand and she shook it.
“Its nice to meet you Sean, you guys should come and visit us sometime, we’re in room 103.”
“We’ll think about it,” said Megan.
With that, Rayleen turned and swam about with nice even strokes. She got out of the pool, dried of and went back to her room. Corry wasn’t there. She lay down after getting dressed and having a shower. She fell asleep. The sun had just disappeared when Corry shaking her shoulders awakened her. Megan and Sean were they’re two, Megan’s eyes full of fear. Rayleen listened and heard explosions not to far away. They were like fiery red blasts of gas.
“We are in the middle of an air raid Rayleen!” said Corry.
Rayleen got up quickly and ran for the door. She pulled it open and was hit by a wave of Smokey air. The whole side of the building was on fire. Rayleen stumbled back and Corry caught her, she then screamed.
“Were going to die! At the age of 15!”
“No we are not!” said Sean. He jumped to the ground and started tapping the floor; “every room has a fire exit in the floor… Yes! I found it!
He pulled of three loose boards and they all looked down into the darkness of a tunnel of a long row of stairs. Each one steel and burnt in some places. Megan went first, slowly starting down, then Sean, Rayleen and lastly Corry. As they walked down the long steep stairs they didn’t notice a whole in them because it was as dark as night. Megan’s foot got caught in it and she went tumbling down, luckily, the stairs were now cushions with a thick red mat.
Megan landed on a soft mat at the bottom but it still he. She groaned when Rayleen got to the bottom and Rayleen giggled, she couldn’t help it, Megan looked so funny on the floor. After helping Megan up she looked around, they were in a dimly hit room with red poles in it and broken beer bottles and full beer bottles. Just as Corry got down a dark figure came out behind him and hit him on the head with one of the bottles.
He collapsed down on the floor and the figure grabbed one of the poles and swung it at Megan. She ducked down just in time and Sean grabbed the pole and pulled it out of the figures hands. Rayleen darted forward and grabbed the figure, and no matter how hard it tried to escape it couldn’t. After a while it gave up.
“Rayleen leaned in and whispered to it, “We’re not here to hurt you, what is your name?”
I-I’m Sam…” said the figure, who appeared to be a boy.
“I thought you were the invaders.”
“Ok… How about you stay with us?”
“O-ok.”
“Good.”
Rayleen let him go and he fell to the floor shaking, she turned and ran to Corry’s body. He had a hand on his head and was cursing. Rayleen helped him up and smiled. Corry didn’t smile back, only glared at Sam. Sam had brown eyes and blond hair.
“Rayleen then looked at Sam as he said, “We must leave.”
Just as he said that the wall in front of the Rayleen seemed to lift and shatter just as glass would shatter when it was hit with a rock. Fire fell around them and they came face to face with a tank.
“RUN!” screamed Megan as loud as she could and they all scattered. Sam was the one who took action first. He pulled out a match and lit it, a small flame appeared. Then he threw it, he was lucky because it went straight into the tanks tank of oil. They all fell to the ground covering their heads with there hands. The tank exploded and great balls of fire shot out in all directions. Rayleen and her group jumped up and ran for the distant trees.

I WARN you, there is blood in this story. People die, It is WAR. So if you don't like Vilionce and such, I must say, DO NOT READ!

Chapter 2

The sun shown down through the tree’s, warming 5 teenagers heads. Rayleen, Sam, Corry, Sean and Megan. They had recently escaped and tank from blowing them up and killing them. Which Sam had blown up, she turned to him.
“How did you blow that tank up?”
“I threw a match into the place the oil is contained in, it caught fire and BAM!”
“Amazing, but… how did you know were to throw it?”
“My dad showed me, he’s in the military.”
“O.k.,” said Corry, looking a little jealous.
Rayleen then said, “We should find some place to find, then find out what we are going to do. Sean and Megan go right and Corry, Sam and I will go left.”
Rayleen and her group went south, heading for a rocky mountain. Megan and Sean headed into the deeper thicker parts of the forest. Rayleen’s group was the first to yell out. There was a very big cave in the side of the mountain. Sean and Megan came running at the sound of their voices. They appeared out of the woods panting, Megan not as much as Sean. They saw Rayleen and their group waving at them and climbed up the mountain to them.
The cave was completely hidden, you had to push a big rock out of the way get into the cave. Inside the cave it was completely dark, you could barely see your own hand in front of your face. The air was damp and harder to breath in then outside, but it was cozy, and not cold, it was actually warm. Rayleen walked in deeper and found that it went farther back. She finally found the back wall and found it was very smooth. She rubbed her hands against it. When she got back to be her friends was she found Megan and Sam were gone. Corry and Sean were standing over some wood trying to set it alight with two rocks. Rayleen smiled and pulled out a match, she always carried one or two with her, just in case she needed to light something like a fire. She lit one and put it on the wood, but the match only burned.
“We need oil,” said Sean.
“Yes, we do,” said Corry
“Does anyone have any?” asked Rayleen
“Not me.”
“Or me,” said Corry.
“Ok… wait, I have an idea,”
She pushed out of the cave and slid down the steep slope, looking up to see explosions in the air far away. She ran into the woods and got a lot of dried leaves. She went back into the cave and dropped most of them on the fire. She lit them easily and a second after the fire caught to. Since the fire was now so big they had to stand away from it. Rayleen smiled and sat down, a second later Sam and Megan came flying in.
“GET DOWN! GET DOWN!”
Rayleen was confused, but she did as she was told, and fell to the ground. It was hard and hurt her arms a lot. A second later there was an explosion and fire shot threw the crack, barely missing her since she was the closest to the entrance. She closed her eyes as she felt the intense heat. When it was gone she grabbed a burning stick from the fire.
“Follow me,” she said.
They all ran to the back was the cave, Rayleen turned to them and said, “We have to do something in this war, and we should fight back. We can’t just let them take our country, we could do great damage if we only tried, who’s with me?”
Everyone was quite, and then Megan looked up, “I am.”
“I am to,” said Sean.
“And me,” said Sam.
Corry just stood there then sighed, and said, “I am to.”
Rayleen smiled, and then said, “Ok… so… what are we to do first?”
“We could attack the airport!” said Sam.
Rayleen shook her head, “To big, lets started smaller so we don’t end up dieing!”
“Yes… we could attack the supply deep-o by the ocean, that’s not two big,” said Corry
“True, but how would we blow it up?” asked Megan.
Sam looked over, he looked as if he had been thinking real hard, and “We could always ambush a German and take his grenades and bombs!”
“How did you know they were the Germans?” asked Rayleen.
“The tank I blew up had the German sign on it.”
“Oh…”
“Ok, so we ambush a German… tomorrow, we should get some sleep…”
Then they all went to there own sleeping places with the sounds of bombs exploding in the distance. In the morning Rayleen was the first to wake up. She got up and walked to a crack in the wall, the explosions were done and Rayleen guessed the Germans had occupied Sydney. She had to get everyone up and that was hard and Sam actually slapped her across the face but after a few minutes she forced him or her up.
“Ok, is everyone ready?” asked Rayleen.
“Yeah, I think so,” said Corry yawning and grumbling.
They got out of the cave and slid down the slope, then ran into the woods and it wasn’t long before the road came into sight. They waited in the bushes, ready to ambush a German. Rayleen turned to Corry, “Pocket knife?” Corry gave it to her.
Rayleen grasped the pocketknife, her stomach lurching at the thoughts of killing a man, a living thing. She closed her eyes and waited. An hour later they heard footsteps. A man was walking down the street; he was a giant, 5.6 feet tall. Rayleen couldn’t tell exactly. He was covered just about everywhere and his neck was the only thing clearly in view, it was really fat. In a few minutes he had passed them and Rayleen sneaked out, she was now behind him. She raised the knife and slit the back of his throat. He fell limp in his arms; he was surprisingly light for his size. Blood, as red as Megan’s shirt, poured all over her and the knife. She went pale. Dropping the man she took of his belt, which had 4 grenades on it. She ran back into the bush, and held the knife out to Corry. He took it and started to clean it on a tree. Sean ran out and hid the blood as best as he could and them dragged the man into the bushes. When Megan saw Rayleen covered in the blood she ran into the bush and started vomiting, Sam just rolled his eyes.
“Ok, we have 4 grenades, that should be enough to blow up the supply deep-o, come on people, we have to get moving,” Rayleen said, walking into the bush.
Megan followed. She was looking very pale and she seemed to be feeling sick. Corry ran up to Rayleen who pulled of his sweater and gave it to her, she put it on thankfully. They walked for a long time, and after a while they lost count of time. Finally the dock came into few, so did the supply deep-o, it was smaller then Rayleen remembered. That was good.
“Ok, we have to go over to the side that stores the oil,” said Sam.
Rayleen looked over in surprise, and then walked around to the side that the oil was in, Rayleen gave everyone a grenade except Sam, whose arms were to small.
“On the count of three, 1, 2, 3!” Rayleen through her grandees with all her might after pulling out the pin, they all landed beside the supply deep-o. They took of running, with everyone else right behind her. Megan went into the lead, and Sean passed Rayleen, Corry and Sam were in the back, but when Rayleen looked back Sam wasn’t there. She heard a yell and looked over to see Sam in the arms of a German. Sam appeared to have hurt the man because he through Sam right over into the water. Rayleen screamed and ran at the man. She realized she didn’t have a weapon. It was to late to stop though and she hit the man when the deep-o blew of and they both went flying over the side.
Rayleen hung there, holding onto one of the railings. Her heart racing. She could hear Corry screamed and Sean yelling at him that they had to go. Waves lapped at her feet, she had been hanging there for at least 3 minutes. She looked down to see Sam hand disappears under water. This got her attention. She let go and jumped down, the water was freezing. All she saw was dust that stung her eyes, and then a figure zoomed by. She grabbed it, she was taking her chances. It was either the solder or Sam. It was Sam, she could tell by feeling his clothing and stuff. She swam up, her hair a mess, floating everywhere and always in her face. She reached the top and inhaled heavily, then lifted Sam’s headed out of the water. His chest heaving up and quickly. He still wasn’t awake. Then a wave collided with her, it pushed her down deep into the water. She got back up, but was only pushed back down into the water even deeper.
This happened many times, and then she realized the blood from the solder was washing of her shirt and out from under Corry’s sweater. She remembered the great whites roaming the Australian sea and new they would want whatever was bleeding for lunch. She started to swim for shore, but something clamped down on her leg with razor sharp teeth. She new what it was and took a deep breath as it pulled her under into the dirty eye stinging water. She looked down to see a great white. She new one would be close by. She struggled and fought with the shark, the whole time her leg feeling like it was being pulled out of its socket. Which it probably was? Then she saw it, a gun! It floated up by her head and she reached out and grabbed it. She was still holding Sam as she aimed at the shark, her hands trembling. She pulled the trigger; a large bubbly bang and a push made her drop the shark. Then with a look of pain it attacked again. This time the bullet went right through its large head when she shot again and it floated down to the bottom. She swam to the top but before she reached it she fell unconscious.
She awoke on the shore, Sam still in her hands. He was barely breathing. She pushed up and felt a bolt of pain. When she looked down she gasped. Her leg was pretty much skinned. She ripped her sleeves of and used them as bandages. She looked down; his breath came out in a ragged gag and then nothing. Rayleen freaked out, rolling him of her and starting to do CPR, her heart pounding. He had no heartbeat though and he was dieing. She remembered when she had gone to work with her mom, she was a surgeon, Rayleen had watched many of her surgeries, and lots of them had died. There was always the long endless BEEP! She could hear it in her head, it was Sam’s, meaning he was almost dead, or already dead. She did this for what seemed an hour. But he was already cold and pale and dead. She couldn’t believe it.
Hot tears fell down her cheeks and she wrapped her arms around Sam, and cried into his shirt. The first death, she hadn’t known it would hurt this much. This wasn’t fair! Why did he have to die? He didn’t do anything bad… well… not really bad at least. She stood up with him in her arms. She wasn’t going to leave him here to rot. She limped into the forest carrying him, she walked for half an hour losing blood slowly but still losing it. Her vision was becoming blurry and everything was becoming louder. She closed her eyes; she was almost at the cave. She stumbled up the last rocks and fell into the cave. The last thing she heard was Corry cry out and some one’s footsteps coming over very quickly.
Everything was bright… were was she… Rayleen sat up and looked at her leg. It was completely bandaged, she was in a hospital, Her parents were on either side of her and stroking her hair, Sam stood before her, looking said. He then whispered only loud enough for her to hear. You could have saved me, Rayleen screamed out and everything faded away. She appeared in a battle field. German’s were closing in on her, Sam stood beside her, his eyes were completely white. The Germans started shooting. Sam fell to the ground and pushed her into the line of fire… This time he was back in the cave, she sat beside Sam’s cold body, Megan, Sean, and Corry all glared at her and started screaming at her about how they hated her and were going to kill her.
Rayleen sat up quickly, a bolt of pain flew through her body, and she lay back down panting. Corry looked over a yelled out and jumped up. Running over, He leaned down beside her, blurting out random words, Rayleen smiled weakly.
“Your such a girl,” she whispered.
“No I’m not!” yelled Corry, Rayleen winced and concern returned to his face.
“Sorry.”
“It’s ok… where’s the others…”
“They wanted revenge for Sam… so they walked out and headed for the airport… there going to make it blow… I had to stay here and watch over you.”
“WHAT!” screamed Rayleen sitting up again. This time ignoring the pain, she pushed herself up. Supporting herself with the wall, “They won’t be able to do it… Sam new everything about blowing things up.” She stumbled towards the cave entrance.
“Wait!”
“What is it Corry?”
Corry reached into his pack and pulled out two guns, “We ambushed a guy and took all their stuff!”
Rayleen grabbed the gun and limped and half ran out of the cave. On there way to the airport they had to stop three times because her leg was either bleeding or hurting to much to move on. Finally they reached it and Rayleen looked out of the bush she was hiding in. She gasped; at least three planes had been destroyed. A few feet in front of them three solders surrounded her friends, then were holding guns to their head. Rayleen aimed at the first solder, and then pulled the trigger. He dropped dead; Corry did the same thing to the second solder. Sean kneed the third one in the stomach. He fell to the ground gasping. Rayleen lifted the gun and shot him. The three solders lay in a circle on the ground, all dead. Rayleen stumbled out of the bush with Corry, they both got amazed looks, and Rayleen looked around and saw two more airplanes, cargo planes. Megan ran to one and climbed in, and then jumping out she yelled out.
“This one’s full of oil!”
Rayleen grinned, then asked Corry, “Do you have any matches?”
“One.”
Corry gave Rayleen the match who gave it to Megan, she nodded at them plane and Megan ran of.
“Set the seat on fire!” yelled Rayleen after her.
After a few dreadful seconds of waiting Megan jumped out screaming and waving towards the forest, Rayleen understood and half limped half ran into the forest. They got a good distance before it blew; Megan covered her ears and jumped of and down.
“Since the other plane was right beside the one we blew, it would have blown up to probably,” said Rayleen.
As they jumped up and down and congratulated themselves, they heard deep voices coming their way and then dogs barking. Everyone looked at each other then ran. Rayleen in the last because of her leg; Gun shots whizzed past her. Rayleen closed her eyes, she was such and easy target! But they were far ahead now. They all burst out into the mountain clearing at the same time and ran into the cave. Pushing the rock in front.

Chapter 3
The wind rustled the grass, four dark shadows sneaked by. The moon was the only light they had in the dark shadows of the trees. Moonlight spilled over their faces. Rayleen, Corry, Sean and Megan. Their bare feet damp from dew on the grass. Rayleen and her friends had taken of there shoes so they wouldn’t make as easy a trail. Rayleen looked around as they reached a clearing and bumped into Sean who had stopped.
“I heard something,” he said.
They all froze, to scare to move, a figure moved in front of them, it didn’t seem to have noticed them. Whatever it was it was reaching up and plucking something from a tree, then another and another. Dropping it into some kind of basket. Corry snuck forward, staying in the bushes. He was now behind the figure. Rayleen snuck up behind him. As soon as she was behind him he jumped out of the bush, as silent as a mouse, as quick as a panther. She knocked the figure down.
It kicked, knocking Corry away, Rayleen rushed in, not as fast as Corry because of her wounded leg. The figure spun around, kicking her in the face and knocking her down into a tree. Megan yelled out and jumped out of the bushes. Sean right behind her. Megan flew right over her because it slid to the ground, then it kicked her in the back and Megan sprawled out in her dirt, face down,
Sean through a punch at the figure, it moved aside. Moonlight crossed its face, it was a girl. She hit Sean on the side, there was a crack and he fell to the ground. Curling into a ball. Megan yelled out and hit the girl in the face. But the girl grabbed Megan’s arm and through her to the side. Rayleen snuck of a tree. Which had been hard, she placed herself right over the girl. Corry tried again, but was kicked into the ground. Rayleen jumped, exhilarating.
The girl looked up and cried out. Rayleen fell right on her, knocking her to the ground but not hurting her much. The girl hit Rayleen on the nose and she stumbled back. Corry pushed himself up and stumbled at the girl. The girl pulled back her leg and kicked him between the legs. His face went pale and he made a squeaking noise then fell to the ground. Sean was still on the ground. Holding his side.
Megan was now back on her feet. She and Rayleen were the last ones standing, Rayleen grabbed the girls arm and pulled. The girl lifted her arm with Rayleen still on it. Megan ran at the girl but the girl through Rayleen at her and they collided, knocking each other down. The girl smiled and turned around. Coming face to face with a rifle. Corry stood in front of her, holding the gun, his face still pale with pain. The girl froze, took a step back and hit something hard; she turned around and saw another rifle. Rayleen held it. The girl trembled, then slid down quickly and knocked Rayleen over. A bang and Corry’s screamed filled the night air, he fell, blood flying everywhere. The girl picked up Corry’s gun and held it at her. Already pulling the trigger. Rayleen closed her eyes, waiting for death. It never came. When Rayleen opened her eyes the girl was on the ground and Megan held a broken pop bottle in her hands.
Rayleen muttered thanks and fell down beside Corry; his shoulder sleeve was wet and sticky with new and old blood. Rayleen pulled his hand away and closed her eyes, she had shot Corry. She wrapped it in clothing.
“Broken bone,” said Megan.
“G-g-gun shot,” said Rayleen.
Megan and Rayleen helped Sean and Corry over to the girl were they could lie down on grass. Rayleen went into the forest and came back with thick vines, tying the girl up. She then told Corry to stay there. Megan and Rayleen ran of in the direction of Sydney, they got there in half an hour and sneaked in.
Rayleen walked in the front and sneaked over to a store. It was one of the biggest in Sydney. Megan grinned and reached into her pocket, pulling out a paper clip. She unfolded it. She stuck it into the lock of the store and fiddled with it for a while. Finally the door swung open and Megan walked in, taking the batteries out of the security system.
They took all the stuff they needed. Including, backpacks to put it all in, food, guns, ammo, bandages, peroxide, and other medical stuff. As they ran for the door Rayleen looked at the clothes and grabbed 5 pairs of camo pants and shirts and boots. They ran out of the store. All of a sudden there was a loud bangs, they turned around and saw an explosion. The German’s were being bombed. They covered their heads and ran for the forest, not daring dropping their packs. They needed this stuff. They burst into the clearing and came face to face with a gun held by Corry. Who dropped it when he saw them? He almost had shot them! She did a lot of medical stuff with Corry, like bandages, peroxide, ETC. She walked to the girl and wrapped her hands up, which was bleeding a little. Rayleen pulled out the cloths and slipping into a bush, putting them on. The two girls helped Sean and Corry get dressed.
They walked back to the hiding places, dragging the girl with them. They got to rest, but Rayleen was only grinning, she had an idea.
“I got an idea!”
“What is it?” asked Corry.
“We should steal a German plane and blow up some German stuff!”
They didn’t say anything, and they all went to sleep. Corry woke up first. He woke Rayleen up who stood up and walked to Megan, lightly tapping her on the head. She sat up super fast and punched her straight in the stomach.

I like this chapter because a 13 year old beats up fifteen year olds!!!! lol This is only some of chapter three, not finished of it all yet.

Same. Im writing another fan-fic. I write during the day, during highschool breaks, classes, at night, midnight is when I write the best (Don't ask)
Find the best time, and place for you to write and you will go on, and on, and on, for ages. Last night I was up till 4 AM writing three chapters and a Prologue for my new Fan-fic
Anyways, I love your fan-fic, excelent details.

WAH! I lost the words on paper, I'm so sorry, I have like 3 or 4 chapters missing! OMG! I have the rest of it on the com so so we can go on I'm just going to tell you what happened mainly.

Corry gets crushed but somehow lived, they meet and officer who is German and is trying to kill them, they blow some stuff up, ETC XD In the end of that little part Corry dies but not without telling Rayleen he loved her with a kiss. Shes devastated and killed the oficer because he killed Corry, they win that war!

I'll put up the next chapter as soon as possible, trust me, the sotry and war is NOT over!
