Arrite, this is a story for people to follow and people can just make stuff out of it, I guess. Rough draft.

I'd give another time skip 2 - 3 years. It's probably a time of peace, rather than another shinobi war, how about a large criminal cartel instead? Rogue ninja and all that stuff.

Oh and Chuunins should REALLY be soon

Depending on how activity fluctuates over the next few weeks, I'll see about planning the chuunin exams. If we don't have many people it probably won't be a traditional exam.

In all seriousness though, I think that would be a good idea. A large criminal orginaztion, with rogue bandits and such. But there needs to be something else, something new...

How about a tailed beast arc? Of course not for anyone to keep, and seal away, but maybe to perhaps defend against. There are really a number of things that can happen. An Akatsuki inspired criminal group would be fun too.

Before the game died, I had planned on doing something similar to tailed beasts.

A guy who hated ninja was planning on using giant sealed scrolls to suck away all the chakra from the land and then use ancient summoned beasts like dragons and shit to destroy the village.

Well, there has been a Tailed Beast arc before.

Also, Akatsuki was originally formed as well.

A drug cartel, in form of a shinobi standard does sound fun. However, it'd need to be planned perfectly...and a lot of background stories will need to be planted and tended too weekly, or whenever is planned.

I also recommend possibly economy sparks, and drops based on mission success and failure.

Economy sparks are difficult to preform, as well as rise and fall in mission price. It's very difficult to "simulate" an economy, which is basically what that would be doing. I've proposed attempts at starting up a legitimate economy, but there needs to be outside sources in order for it to be an honest attempt. For instance, there would need to be trade, importing and exporting, and active businesses with goals and services that people would require on a consistent basis.

Something along the lines of a hunger meter/system would help with that, but like I said, it would be a difficult thing to do. I don't really want to have to calculate how much more or less a player should get from a mission depending on how many failures or successes there are. I'd hate to have to delegate that to another player as well.

Otherwise, I dunno why we need a drug cartel since everybody IG smokes weed and shit anyways.

I think that if you guys are attempting to cultivate something to role play in, a smaller, less complicated 'arc' is the best shot. Something like rogue ninjas and bandits is perfect because it takes little time to set up.

Something like tailed beasts might be a little much right now because if not enough people show up, people lose motivation and everything sort of falls apart.

I wish I could help but I just don't have the time. I'm moving in a week to my new apartment, I'm running my store, starting my next semester and trying to make time for my girlfriend all at the same time.
