Alright, right off the bat, this is a news forum that you posted this in. You needing help isn't news, so after I post this I'm moving this to something more appropriate.

QUOTE
lydon likes to curse

Absolutely! I'd like to blame it on the Army, but frankly, I had a cursing problem in middle school lol

QUOTE
xranger posts alot

xranger was active up until around march of 08ish and left or stopped completely.

Oh Xranger.... let's just say this, my little brother (who's just turned 14) has more emotional maturity then Xranger. Said little brother also attended more games and gave less headache, which is why Pat Lydon is still a member of this team and Xranger isn't.

QUOTE

reiff has some cool ideas that often gets argued over and that he did something to piss you guys off. Im not sure if he left or not but his account is still active and registered on the site. also why did he do what he did? im not sure what he did but knowing the motivation may help.

Reiff was one of the original 10 members of the team, and while I'm the obvious "head" of the team, frankly Help Nelson would be a series of bad ideas written on the back of napkins rather then a paintball team if he didn't help me out. We had a lot of philosophical differences of late, and it came to a head when he opted to spy for the opposing side at our last game. He's still my friend, and I still value his input, I just can't trust him with any sensitive info anymore dry.gif

Anyway, you're catching us in a difficult period. ION '09 very well may be my last event with the team. Most of our personal lives are getting in the way lately, and those of us who are still pretty much with it have major differences in goals and play style that we need to reconcile. If you want to play with HN, I'd suggest going to ION, because it might well be our last appearence in it's current state wink.gif

Honestly, it wouldn't benefit us apart from financially. Babysitting High School kids isn't what I had in mind for an event that makes up 10% of my allotted yearly leave. No offense, but apart from grabnar our whole team is in their early 20's, most of them will be freshly graduated from college, and I'm an unbalanced Veteran, I don't want to hang out with small children who will spend 25 minutes telling me how they're "like, a sniper!"

If they want to go, and can get the money in before the deadline, fine, they can camp with us, but I'm not going to fawn over them and make sure they bring enough food or any of that crap, just to be clear. It's cheaper for us to band together like that, so I'm all for it.

BTW, you posted in the time it took me to post and then refresh the page to make sure it posted right...

Change of policy, high school kids are an emphatic no-go. None of my guys want to deal with high school kids either.

Why would you suggest them then? Help Nelson is a team based on personalities, not skill.

QUOTE (HanktheTank @ Apr 30 2009, 09:30 PM)
fair enough. Not very fond of them myself only suggested.

...

Are you fucking retarded? I mean, seriously? I get 30 days of leave a year. That's 30 days I'm allowed to be in the same goddamn zip code as my friends and family, much less to do anything fun, like ION. You're willing to waste 3+ of those days dealing with assholes that even you don't like? How does that help anybody, at all? Even a little bit? You come on my team forums and start reading our old shit and acting like you're one of us, and then you decide to do this? How about you set your autorefresh macro down, go outside, and think before you speak?
