Hello Help Nelson,

I have good news and amazing news for you all. The good news is that
the British and Americans won the Battle for Britain with a score of
19-16. To everybody who didn't go, keep in mind that we held the beach
in the pouring rain and fought tooth and nail to defend a castle
through the worst weather I've ever paintballed in. I've played during
snowstorms and had an easier time of it.

We didn't spend much time on the field, but even in just the few short
hours we had before the game was called were enough for many people on
our team to impress me to no end. Daniel, that idiot, once again ran
back and forth across the front of the line, daring the Germans to hit
him. He even got a grenade kill. A paint grenade kill. I don't believe
it either.

Others like Alex and Jeff valiantly thew themselves in the defense of
Tippman castle and were only driven out in close quarters fighting.
Scott stayed on the field far longer than me and was constantly coming
back excited to kill more Germans. I don't know what he did out there,
but I'm sure it involved ceaseless slaughter.

I'd list how I was proud to play with all of you, but I'm too tired.

As for the amazing news, I wasn't the only person proud of Help
Nelson. For our efforts defending the British isles and our years of
service to the allied cause, Help Nelson was awarded the American Most
Valuable Team award. That's right folks, we finally won ourselves an
MVT. Each and every member of this team should be proud of themselves.
This was won with the culmination of years of relentlessly impressive
behavior, from '07 ION and the great morning rush and cat picture to
Stalingrad and the 35 man team, we've been rocking the German's faces
off for years now. Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and
sociopathy.

I'll be back with more information about our plans for the upcoming
year, but for anybody interested, there is a game in Georgia on
December 12-13 that we could be interested in. It is located right
next to Lydon's house, eliminating camping requirements, has $50 cases
of paint, only $20 registration, and is on some of the best fields
I've ever heard of.

Did I mention that it is pirate vs ninja themed? Pirate Help Nelson
team may just be the most fun thing in the world.

Congratulations again to all of you. It is an honor to lead this team.

So apparently Roger's renamed our team for us! If you check the PBN link, he awarded the MVT to "Nelp Nelson." I think that's freakin' hilarious, myself.
